12/07/2024: Nice structure, good food accompanied by high-level service. We ate orecchiette with turnip tops, grilled bombette and side dishes. All good, fair prices.

11/07/2024: A wonderful place to dine with a perfect meal. The personal encounters with the owner and the staff are also worth highlighting! With the café, i.e. espresso, we were given a black chocolate on a special cutting board. A special treat together with the café. After completing the perfect meal, there was a laurel schnapps - I didn't expect anything like that. A digestive schnapps of a special quality. Thank you for this culinary evening!

15/08/2024: I'm only writing this review to update that the place is now called General Lee, I haven't had the chance to eat there.

20/08/2024: Big regret. Nice place with space for children, certainly among the (former) preferences of our group in summer also because the food is decent. All the children, even 1 year olds like ours, pay a cover charge even though they played a bit on the lawn and after the bottle they fell asleep in our strollers; 4 people in our group stood us up and didn't come, two extra covers were also charged to the bill. The slip was printed AFTER you paid. Therefore, after paying, we noticed that the covers were charged more than the actual guests. The thing that is disappointing and that will not make us return is not the two euros per cover that can be charged or not, but the failure to show the bill of what you are paying on purpose - by doing so the manager admits to applying a controversial practice on covered which therefore justifies this review Giampiero Flaminio

16/08/2024: Ci siamo per bere una birra, niente da stuzzicare. Poi abbiamo chiesto se si potesse mangiare. Ci ha no detto di sì ma poi nessuno si è presentato per mezz’ora. Alla dine ce ne siamo andati. Pessimi

20/07/2024: Prenotato. Ti siedi e ti dicono solo pizza e frittura. 1 ora e mezza per avere prima pizze e poi dopo 4 fritture . E alla fine 4 patatine fritte che dovevano servire nell’attesa dei primi piatti. Qualità bassissima. Improvvisazione, mancanza di professionalità e da sconsigliare al 100% . Mai più.

05/08/2024: I stayed for four days in this hotel. Let's start by talking about the structure. Leaving aside what all the other reviews say about the structure which is now dated, what is not good is that if a soap dish in the shower is wobbly it must be replaced, things that are broken or almost broken must be replaced. So I advise the manager to ask customers if there is something wrong so they know what to replace. For the rest, the structure is very clean and there is no shortage of services such as a swimming pool (water not cold for me), games room with ping pong, table football and a room for the little ones. Plus they organize excursions and more thanks to Alfred's entertainment group, who is a very nice and competent person (my friends). For the rest of the staff, they are all very kind, but they lack a bit of professionalism. As for eating, the dinners were excellent, the only flaw being not being able to choose dessert, while the breakfast is not up to the level of the dinners, let's say in terms of sufficiency. I conclude by saying that the extra star I gave it is certainly for the quality/service and price ratio.

18/03/2024: Ci trovavamo a Pescara in occasione della fiera del vinile e cercando un ristorante nei pressi del porto turistico siamo giunti in questo locale molto accogliente e ben curato cibo ottimo dagli antipasti ai primi i secondi e perfino il dolce vino sfuso degno di nota unica pecca forse il bagno un po’ scomodo e senza fasciatoio

11/03/2024: Atmosfera e personale cordiale. Attesa un po’ lunga tra una pietanza e l’altra ma i piatti erano freschi e bilanciati. Tutto sommato una esperienza culinaria piacevole. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

10/08/2024: Historic local restaurant managed very well by the family Excellent typical Abruzzo cuisine, a wonderful pizzeria with many varieties of pizza, all very good, consumed in a simple but welcoming environment in the internal area. The garden is very pleasant where you can eat in a coolness that makes you forget this summer heat

03/08/2024: Pessimo è fargli un complimento. Arrogante poco gentile e maleducata la bionda figlia del proprietario. Menù inesistente, mangi senza sapere quanto paghi. Cameriere inesperto inadeguato. Locale poco areato da morire per il caldo. Da evitare assolutamente.

22/07/2024: Credo sia giusto segnalare che si puo' fare di piu'. Non manca la buona volonta', ma forse organizzazione ed esperienza. Ci siamo ritrovati un solo cameriere ai tavoli che con tanta buona volonta' correva da un tavolo all'altro....sta di fatto che per un po' di pane da accompagnare al secondo piatto....ci e' arrivato quanto il secondo piatto era finito. Qualita' dei piatti....discreta. Niente di che. Abbiamo visto personale giovane...sapranno migliorarsi di giorno in giorno. Attenzione pero' ai prezzi. Un po' troppo alti. (e siamo buoni). E se consideriamo un po' di disservizio...non ci sta'.

03/07/2024: Ottima qualità, ottimo prezzo, porzioni abbondanti e servizio impeccabile… che altro chiedere? Abbiamo preso antipasti misti caldi e freddi, 2 buonissime spigole in crosta di patate e un dessert. Conto tot 58€ compresi acqua, 1 calice di vino e coperto (3€ pp). Il locale è molto spazioso, comodo certamente per tavolate ma anche per avere sufficiente spazio tra i tavoli. Menu disponibile con QR code e parcheggio per i clienti.

29/08/2024: Bad place to end up in. The rooms are poorly maintained, with half-broken showers and without even a mat on the floor. Upon arrival there was no hot water, things that can happen, but when we pointed it out we were hastily told that the boiler was broken and there was little that could be done about it. The dinner was also disappointing and not even at a good price, with some abyss represented by the local specialities, such as the timballo (a hard and very salty tile) or the grilled lamb produced by the owner (only to then discover that apart from two pieces of lamb the rest were sausages, chops and pork belly). The owner continued to behave in a surly and rude manner, practically throwing the dishes on the table. When after dinner we asked how to get hot water, he told us that either we would take a cold shower for a laughable €20 discount on the price of the rooms or we could leave. We left.

28/08/2023: This year no catering. At the bar only the elderly owners (kind). But the place is so neglected. Good thing I paid €15 for the umbrella with three sunbeds.

10/08/2023: Il ristorante funziona solo con un primo è un secondo solo per il pranzo, nessuno ha mai aspettato tre ore e nessuno ha mai pagato 300 euro, è semplicemente cambiata la gestione con connotati “molto” differenti dalle ultime; ad alcuni potrebbe non piacere. Chi è “Sergio” a Tortoreto potete chiederlo anche ai lampioni e tutti vi diranno che sono solo insinuazioni o invidia.

27/06/2024: J’étais en route pour voyage d’affaires et j’ai remarqué ce restaurant car il porte le même nom que mon épouse ( chinoise). Il est vrai que de l’extérieur je n’y serai pas rentré ( un petit relooking serait bien venu) La salle typique vieux restaurant chinois J’ai été accueilli par une serveuse ( italienne très sympathique) … me suis dit pour la nourriture on verra ! J’ai été franchement agréablement surpris ( pour cette catégorie de restaurant chinois « classique » d’une autre époque Portions pas exagérées (comme la plupart )mais très bien en saveurs Ce que j’avais commandé correspondait bien plus que mes attentes Et bien entendu pour une addition qui ne me fera pas manger du steak haché à la fin du mois 😊

14/06/2024: Please don't go there, I eat Chinese and Japanese once a month but saying terrible is a compliment. This evening I gave the money to the Chinese and they certainly don't lack it. If you really want Chinese or Japanese cuisine, choose other places because the prices are all the same.

01/09/2024: Rare rudeness and incompetence, beyond imagination. There is no place in Chieti that can treat customers like they did at Casina dei Tigli. Keep your money and avoid going there if you have any self-respect. Much better to eat at the food truck nearby.

01/09/2024: I think that if you want to close at a certain time you could simply go to the table and say so instead of blaring Neapolitan music from the speaker (so much so that it croaks) and rejoicing when you see that people get up. Embarrassing is an understatement.
