We went for lunch today, arriving around 12:30 as the first customers. A gentleman greeted us and handed us the paper menu we requested (even though they have a QR code). He took our order and served us right away with drinks. The food arrived shortly after. We ordered tofu with mushrooms and bamboo shoots and rice noodles with pork and vegetables, which were very good. My side order was bean sprouts with sautéed julienned carrots (they weren't on the menu, but I asked for a side and they accommodated me), followed by sweet and sour chicken, which was also excellent. The place and restrooms were clean, and the price was more than fair. Considering we were just passing through, it was a great experience; we'll keep it in mind for the future. 😊

The first Chinese restaurant to open between Pescara and its province is a guarantee of quality and attention to detail. I have been there often over the years as a couple and as a family and have never been disappointed. The more traditional menu has adapted to us Italians over time, but has also expanded to include Japanese cuisine and sushi. The à la carte and fixed menus have also recently offered an all-you-can-eat option, which has however increased in popularity and become a bit expensive due to fish and sushi. I recommend the spring rolls and steamed ravioli, which I consider the best in Abruzzo, but also the sautéed spaghetti with roasted prawns or Cantonese rice. As a second course, try the sweet and sour chicken or the almond chicken to stick with white meats, or the pork cooked in many ways, all very good. My personal opinion is that each people has its own, and in the Chinese you have to eat the meat, a tradition in which they are masters, not the fish, as well as the low-calorie bamboo shoots with fabulous nutritional properties and delicious. As a typical dessert, to finish, I recommend the soft nai huang bao, the typical rabbit bun filled with cream. Distinctive flavor, the rabbit (4th zodiac sign) for the Chinese is a symbol of good luck, fortune, and long life. I forgot about the quality of the drinks: the water is in glass bottles, like soy sauce, they have Kikkoman, and if you ask for espresso, they'll make it like at a bar. The location is beautiful and welcoming, opposite the Delfino Globo shopping center and a stone's throw from the sea on the northern coast of Pescara.
