25/03/2026: A spur-of-the-moment lunch on a Tuesday without a reservation. We were welcomed and immediately pampered. The dining room overlooking the sea—in fact, the sea—is priceless. The simple and tasty menu features aromas of days gone by. Plates and cutlery were changed with each course, which isn't always a given. Good background music. Then, after coffee, enjoying the view is an extraordinary gift. Thanks to the owners, who love their work.

16/02/2026: A restaurant located in the highest town in the Apennines...a little gloomy, to be honest (but we went in the evening, when it was raining)... the restaurant is very cute and welcoming. The dishes are incredibly generous. The first courses are enormous. The meat-based second courses are EXCEPTIONAL. Everything is delicious and incredibly tasty. But the desserts are truly incredible. A fitting end to a wonderful dinner. Oh, I forgot. The bill was incredibly low. As soon as we're back in the area, we'll definitely come visit you again.

08/03/2026: Takeaway pizzeria with tables for dine-in. The pizza is very good, the service is excellent and fast even though the place is often very crowded. The owners do everything they can to satisfy their customers' needs, and the prices are very reasonable. I introduced it to my friends a while ago, and now, whenever we go out for pizza, they always want to come back!

An honorable mention goes to the vegetarian dishes: finally, original, tasty, and anything but predictable options. ​The welcome: The owner is the place's added value. Friendly and down-to-earth, yet extremely courteous and professional. He makes you feel right at home right away. ​In a nutshell? We left with a smile (and a full stomach). We'll definitely be back!

09/02/2026: Pity we only discovered this restaurant on our last night at l'Aquila. We shared a lovely starter, then had the most exquisite pizza and pinsa ever! A gem of a restaurant offering an extensive menu, not just pizza. Other dishes seemed delicious too! And all at very affordable prices. Very friendly staff and efficient service. 25/01/2026: We entered a little pre-emptively, but we left very satisfied. The wait times were proportionate to the freshness of the dishes. We tried three different starters, each better than the last. But a top score definitely goes to the pecorino carpaccio, which I ordered as a main course, but could easily have been a standalone dish due to the generous portion. Kudos to the entire staff.

27/03/2026: We tried excellent polenta and tasty arrosticini, and a good selection of first courses. It's hard to find a table on weekends.

22/03/2026: For years, Cristallo di Neve has been associated with two prominent figures in the restaurant industry: Irene and Maurizio. Today, these two gurus of fine dining and drinking have begun a new adventure at Rocca dei Borgia, handing over the reins of the historic Campo dell'Osso venue to their grandchildren, Francesca and Gigi. The result is like changing the order of things: SAME, EXCEPTIONAL! The quality of the ingredients is always top-notch, and today's lunch, featuring appetizers of carpaccio and Angus beef tartare, followed by meat agnolotti with Gorgonzola cream, saffron, and grated truffle, and strozzapreti with wild boar ragù, was the pinnacle of flavor. The tiramisu with coffee poured directly by the good Gigi (who also knows his stuff about wines and spirits) and the rum and chocolate cake concluded a pleasant and unforgettable experience. Because both of them, like their uncles and the young, highly trained staff, besides offering delicious dishes, managed to make you feel "at home." We'll be back as soon as possible! Reservations recommended.
