14/10/2025: Parco dei Mulini has been a trusted favorite for several years now. I've been here often, even on different occasions (in the summer, the kiosk is open, you can eat outside in the heavenly temperatures, and the live music evenings are fantastic!). In the winter, they host indoor evenings, and the menus change based on events (the pizzas, in particular, are updated frequently!). Top quality in everything, from beers to main courses, all the way to dessert (made by the fantastic staff), and the pizzas are unparalleled: the best pizzas in the Ortona area and the surrounding area, even though we're in Crecchio. Generous portions and affordable prices. The owner is super. The place is beautiful, surrounded by the greenery of a charming former mill, and it's not uncommon to spot a few animals!

24/09/2025: Always happy to book. Relaxing place, even if it's always busy. The food, both meat and pizza, is always excellent. The beers are also good, with a wide selection. Good value for money.

21/10/2025: Almost a daily stop, the delicious, crispy pizzas offer a wide variety of choices and top-quality ingredients. The calzones can be filled with sauces, chips, and hot dog slices, but even without, they're a feast for the palate. The croquettes and supplì are equally delicious.

01/10/2025: The best pizza by the slice in the Vestina area, with a crispy base and perfect thickness. Excellent quality toppings, and above all, in large quantities! The calzones (especially the fried ones) are unique and can be filled with chips, sausages, and even rice balls—in short, they're the real deal! The staff is always very kind and helpful, and even though the place is often crowded, the line moves quickly. 💫

26/10/2025: It was worth the price (€90) and the 220 km drive to get there. Reservations required; I've never tasted so many appetizers. There were 12 of us. Teramo's historic center; parking is almost impossible on weekdays.

21/11/2025: “Corso Stretto” was a truly pleasant discovery: a small but meticulously crafted restaurant with just a few tables, so reservations are recommended. The menu is refined, innovative without compromising on tradition, and the dishes are always beautifully presented. We tried: artisanal rigatoni with ricotta, sausage, and truffle: excellent. The gnocchi with pumpkin, porcini mushrooms, and stracciatella were also very good. The suckling pig with truffles and chicory was equally impressive. To finish, the gianduia fondant—original and delicious—and a lemon tartlet, beautiful to look at and delicious. The prices are fair, especially considering the central location.

16/11/2025: For a light meal, we shared a starter and a first course each. The tagliatelle with wild boar and the very flavorful ragù were exceptional. The fettuccine with porcini mushrooms were al dente and wrinkled, but not very flavorful. The homemade desserts were delicious. The service was courteous, punctual, and very fast. It's unfortunate that there were no menus to read, but we'll definitely be back.

29/10/2025: Last Saturday, after a lovely hike in the mountains with the family, we visited the magnificent, largest beech forest in Europe. Nestled between the towns of Pereto, Cappadocia, and Tagliacozzo, it's truly enchanting this time of year. In Cappadocia, we stopped at this little gem I already knew. The atmosphere was rustic and homey. The food was excellent, with simple, timeless flavors. We ordered tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, mixed crepes, and gnocchi with ragù. For our main course, a very tender tagliata, but the arrosticini were unsurpassed, and the breaded lamb deserved top marks. The desserts were also delicious: a crepe with Nutella for my son, a pear baked in Montepulciano for me, and a crème brulee for my wife. A liter of house red wine, coffee, and gentian. Everything was truly delicious; I highly recommend you come and experience the flavors of our wonderful Abruzzo. All in all, we spent €100 for the three of us, and the prices are still what they used to be.

12/10/2025: In August, on vacation in Abruzzo, one evening we went to Rocco's (the second time, the first last year). It's a small pizzeria with outdoor seating. What can I say? Even better than last year. Really good! I don't remember the exact flavor I chose; I think mine was zucchini and gorgonzola. Achy, I don't remember, but I have photos.

09/11/2025: I visited this trattoria-restaurant for the first time, invited to a birthday party. The food and service were exceptional, and the setting was beautiful, with parking and a large garden. The appetizers were excellent and of good quality. We'll definitely return, but only for a more relaxed meal. Good wine selection.

30/10/2025: We've been going to Grappolo D'Oro for over five years now and have always had a magical and delicious dining experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience an authentic and regionally inspired journey through the culinary wonders of Abruzzo. Furthermore, the owner and staff are wonderful people who welcome you with open arms.

07/12/2025: We were two for dinner and decided to order just two starters, a main course, and a side dish, along with a can of Coke, for €47. The starters were porcini mushrooms and truffles, delicious and plentiful, full of mushrooms. The main course was a grilled meat, also plentiful, served on a small tabletop grill. The outside area was very nice, and the room we were seated in was very intimate, well-kept, and had a fireplace. We'll be back.

As soon as you enter, you're greeted by a warm and refined atmosphere, with attentive, friendly staff always ready to recommend the perfect dish. The menu is extensive and well-balanced: meat, fish, and pizza, all treated with the same care and quality. The meats are tender and flavorful, cooked to perfection and accompanied by side dishes that enhance each flavor. The fish is fresh, fragrant, and delicately cooked, without unnecessary frills: you can truly taste the sea in every bite. The pizzas deserve a special mention: light, well-leavened, and easily digestible dough, with premium ingredients and combinations ranging from classics to more creative options. Every bite reveals the attention to raw materials and passion for cooking. The quality-price ratio is also excellent, especially considering the variety of the offerings and the attention to detail.
