The place is well-maintained and the food is truly delicious.
I've been there with people who had various allergies and was pleasantly surprised by the helpfulness, attentive service, and good food quality.
A bit out of the way, but worth the detour for a good meal.

02/11/2025: I'd been wanting to try this little gem for a while, and I finally did. My already high expectations were far exceeded.
It was a wonderful evening, discovering new yet authentic flavors rooted in tradition. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere warm and welcoming, and the smiles of the staff and owners made everything even more magical.
We chose the five-course tasting menu, which fully satisfied our palates. The wine list is extensive and full of excellent choices.
The dessert will forever remain in my heart: from the crunch of the dough, crisp and fragrant, to the melt-in-your-mouth sensation that captivates you from the first bite.
I can't wait to return for another wonderful experience!
It's become my favorite place.

28/10/2025: We've been to this restaurant before, and I can only confirm the wonderful culinary experience. We ate wonderfully. The dishes showcase local ingredients, with a nod to contemporary cuisine, with remarkable sophistication and deliciousness.
One small flaw was the service, which was a little late at opening, but they made up for it as they went along. Compliments to the chef and the restaurant manager, and kudos to them for their kindness and helpfulness. We'll definitely be back.

Here, time has reminiscent of the 1970s, with furnishings and cuisine...
Family-run, with a wife in the kitchen and a husband in the dining room.
Friendliness, deliciousness, and authenticity are guaranteed. The scent of white napkins reminds me of lunches at my grandmother's. Thank you.

25/10/2025: We expected something more from the chef's appetizers, both in terms of selection and the courses (given the price). The first courses, however, amazed us, starting with the reinterpretation of fish meunière. The white guazzetto, however, is up to par and doesn't make you miss the more traditional guazzetto with tomato sauce, although it could be included on the menu.
The service was very kind and attentive, thank you!
The location could use some updating and modernization, but all in all, it's a pleasant place and gives off a summery feel!

23/10/2025: The host, Fabio, offers our tour guests an amazing menu of fresh seafood or lamb, or vegetarian options if desired. Outside the window is a beautiful view of the Adriatic Sea. This is our go-to group lunch spot for our visits to Ortona on our WWII battlefield tours.

07/11/2025: Rossella keeps her promise! I've been wanting to try this restaurant in Tufo, near Carsoli, for at least two years. It has changed the face of Abruzzo's restaurant scene.
Despite being open for several years, I only recently heard about it, and every time I called, there were no seats available. For a while, they managed to keep it a "secret," but then, little by little, word spread, and word of mouth spread the dream of these immense, outsized, and exceptional ravioli.
We managed to get there on a Monday in October for lunch, and in addition to the famous ravioli, we also tried a fresh pasta dish with porcini mushrooms and truffles, the memory of which still delights me.
The French fries are REAL, enough to light a candle to the Madonna.
The service is prompt; sure, you might have to wait a bit, but the wait is worth it.
The prices are more than fair, and that's a bonus!
My only complaint, a matter of personal preference, is that the tomato sauce is a bit too smooth; I prefer a more rustic, full-bodied texture. However, this in no way detracts from the satisfaction of eating at Rossella's.
Lunch also included the spectacle of watching the food being eaten at the tables around us.
Good heavens, I've rarely seen people manage to gorge on such quantities of food. It felt like we were back in the fabulous '70s.
My compliments to this wonderful business, carried out with passion and undoubtedly a lot of hard work!

06/11/2025: Excellent home cooking, just the way I like it. Be careful when ordering the ravioli, because one portion can feed three people. 😂😂😂 I'm not exaggerating. The ingredients are excellent.

13/10/2025: What can I say, where to begin...
We arrive for lunch, although it was more of a kidnapping than a lunch. The table is medium-sized, and the first thing we ask is if they have vegan options. Otherwise, I would have easily looked for another place for myself and another person. I say yes, and so we all sit down.
An eternity passes before anyone comes to ask if we want a drink; no menus are available.
Another eternity passes before they come to ask us about appetizers, which we obviously couldn't choose since the menus were never brought to the table. I remind the waiter that I'm vegan, asking what the vegan options are, and the answer I get is "I DON'T KNOW, VEGETABLES," in a tone that's annoyed to say the least.
The famous vegetables arrive: some tasteless grilled peppers and mediocre eggplants—these are the vegan options. Congratulations.
Another eternity later, another waiter arrives (or maybe the owner, I don't know), asking us for our starters, again without having had a chance to consult the menu. Once again, I naively ask what I should choose, and he replies, "You have to tell me what you want," which I would have done if I'd only known what was on offer, but without a shred of a menu, it's hard to ask for anything. When I reiterate which foods I don't eat, he even rolls his eyes at me, astonished. We settle on pasta with porcini mushrooms, a mediocre dish like the rest of the dishes, which also left me feeling nauseous for the rest of the day, and perhaps it's best not to investigate the reasons.
The other diners fared better, but they too were offered samples of three starters, but only two of them arrived.
When some asked for second courses, the initial response was "we have meat," further information was provided upon prompting, shocking.
Now I wonder how it's possible, in 2025, to approach customers like this. I've rarely seen such ignorance and rudeness from someone offering a service, or at least supposedly so. Not to mention that all it would have taken was for them to immediately say, "No, they don't have vegan options," and I would have saved myself an absurd amount of money for dishes that should shame the people who prepared them, and you for having a clearly unwelcome customer at your establishment.
