04/05/2026: We have had a lot of great meals on this trip, but none surpassed our dinner here. The gorgeous patio was a quiet and sophisticated backdrop for exceptional boar ragu, pork ribs that (literally) stunned us, and fabulous dessert. The local vernaccia wine was a great compliment and they gave us an adorable little parting gift for tomorrow. I wish I could come back again and again. On our next trip to Tuscany it will be the first reservation we make.

04/05/2026: An absolutely wonderful experience! The location was ideal, the food was incredibly delicious, and the service was impeccable. Everything felt just right. I would definitely recommend visiting!

06/04/2026: We went for dinner in April and it was absolutely magical! The sunset from the restaurant is beautiful, and the dinner was truly amazing, with delicious food and an open fireplace. The setting is intimate and the service is delightful. Highly recommended.

26/10/2025: This was the best meal we have had in Tuscany, food and atmosphere. The service was incredible. We felt so special and felt right at home. Don’t miss this place!

09/07/2026: We were drawn in by the beautiful atmosphere inside, which was visible from the outside. Inside, it was stunning, with a herringbone tiled ceiling. It was pleasantly cool. We were served delicious fresh bread with our meal. The wines were good and relatively affordable. Not to mention the local gin for the gin tonic. Hospitality is top-notch. They didn't have any change, so they rounded the bill down. I absolutely recommend this restaurant for its extensive wine list, air conditioning, very good food, and hospitality!

17/05/2026: Rosso Rubino is a must-try if you’re visiting Montepulciano. The garlic pici was so amazing we were eating spoonfuls of the sauce when it was done. Also, the tiramisu was the best we’ve ever had. They only do one seating every night so make sure to reserve in advance. You will need to call or email them to make a reservation. Grazie mille!!

03/06/2026: A modern seafood bistro in a village on the shores of a countryside lake! It might seem unusual, but it's an excellent place for those who love seafood and good wine. The service is courteous, fast, and professional. The dishes are tasty and beautifully presented. The wine list is good. Prices are moderately high.

01/06/2026: Everything is excellent. A must try. The owner, Maurizio, explains the food and wine selection with expertise and passion. The wines are impressive and truly special. Excellent fish, shellfish, and meat. The prices are in line with the quality of the food.

12/06/2026: My husband and I had dinner at this small restaurant/pub. We had made reservations, realizing it was quite small with only a few tables inside and out, based on other reviews. Silvio, the young owner, welcomed us kindly and served us quickly. We ordered two platters of mixed cured meats, three types of pecorino cheese and porchetta, two portions of Tuscan tripe in a pot, a portion of fried potatoes, and a plate of eggplant with mushrooms and pan-fried chicory. We were truly satisfied; everything was delicious!!! Not everyone likes tripe, and obviously there were other options, but if someone does, we can say they were the absolute best we've ever had in a restaurant. We absolutely recommend it!

05/06/2026: We stopped here on a whim today and were blown away. The pasta was delicious and the fries were the best we’ve had in Europe so far. Everything came out fresh and piping hot. The craft beer selection is fantastic and a nice change of pace from all the wine tasting. The owner is friendly and accommodating and will tailor a beer to whatever you’re in the mood for. He really knows his stuff. Prices are extremely reasonable. A great place to stop for lunch and grab a beer!

06/05/2026: I went to Ristorante Daria on May 1st with friends and we couldn't have chosen better. We ate divinely: dishes crafted with attention to every detail and authentic flavors. It was a crescendo of flavors from appetizer to dessert. Compliments to the staff for their courteous and professional service. A tour of Montichiello is also highly recommended: a beautiful village with meticulous attention to detail, just like on postcards of Tuscany.

06/05/2026: Truly exceptional. The hospitality and kindness of the owners were truly appreciated. The homemade pici pasta is unbeatable, but I also recommend the chicken livers served with jam for an appetizer. The black cherry crème caramel for dessert was the best I've ever tasted. Plenty of vegetarian options, too. I can't wait to return!

11/05/2026: A wonderful surprise. Everything was excellent: exceptional soup, tender pork with pears, traditional dishes in a family-run restaurant.

10/05/2026: Quality, originality, typical of the place, and just the right amount of dishes, professionalism, courtesy, and attention to the dishes and the customers, even when they're busy on Sunday lunchtime. They bring you water and bread without you asking where, even when full, they ask if everything was okay or if you'd like anything else. They take care in what they cook and who they cook it for. You can drink good wine and an excellent local amaro. The waiters do their job with professionalism and love, because serving customers isn't easy, and the environment and work atmosphere help a lot. I'll definitely be back.

20/06/2026: Good, typical Tuscan cuisine. The fried egg with truffles is a must-try. The rabbit and the stuffed pasta were also very good. Beautiful location in the heart of the old town with outdoor seating on the piazza. Friendly service, which, without complaint, moved our table settings first from outside to inside and later back outside again when it started to rain.

10/05/2026: The cuisine speaks for itself; all that's left to do is try it. The courtesy and friendliness of the staff and chef perfectly complement the delicious food. I recommend it to anyone who wants something special, especially fish. But there are no limits; whether meat or fish, every dish is worth savoring. It's worth it... even just listening to the description... and in the end, you're always spoiled for choice. Always top-notch, one of the best cuisines ever.

26/04/2026: I only knew this restaurant by name, and mostly for its seafood. Excellent food (fish, of course), generous portions, excellent customer service, and a more than reasonable price. The only downside, but this is where parents come into play, was the proximity of a child who had been screaming all evening. Otherwise, a well-deserved 5 stars.

04/08/2026: Excellent osteria located near the historic center of Chiusi. Highly recommended. The food is very good, the service is friendly and fast, and the price is absolutely reasonable (considering the high quality of the food). Oh, and the desserts are delicious and, of course, delicious. Unfortunately, the Tuscan cheesecake—which is sensational—is on the small side (or rather, perhaps it's the right size, but since it's sensational, as I mentioned earlier, a few more inches wouldn't have hurt). The coffee at the end of the meal (ask for it even if you don't drink it; it's truly worth it, especially considering how it's served) makes for a satisfying end to your visit to Chiusi.

04/08/2026: Extensive menu with some reinterpretations, carefully presented. Excellent service, professional and friendly staff. For four people, seven different courses, a side dish, water, and coffee, €115. Hard to find value for money. Highly recommended.

12/06/2026: This restaurant was beautiful and the best overall meal we had in Italy! It was authentic, delicious, and top tier service! Be sure to make reservations here! We had truffle everything and the Gnocchi. The wine was obviously amazing! Definitely recommend

11/06/2026: Google Maps once convinced me to drive a rental car through Piazza del Campo (where loads of people were dining alfresco and looking at us with bemusement) en route to dinner at La Taverna di San Giuseppe. After arriving, we had a fantastic meal and evening. Great service and top-notch classic Tuscan dishes in a beautiful setting. We highly recommend this restaurant—and taking an alternative route or mode of transportation to avoid a hefty fine. Was it worth it despite the self/Google-inflicted inflated price tag? 100%
