14/05/2026: We ate there this evening and were absolutely delighted! The food was truly outstanding – everything fresh, flavorful, and prepared with great care. We left the restaurant happy and with smiles on our faces. The service was also excellent: very friendly, attentive, and warm. We will definitely be back!

08/05/2026: Dinner was perfect. Our waitress, Alexandra, guided us through the evening with charm and ease. The menu is concise yet comprehensive. We ordered the surprise menu once and à la carte twice. The portions are unusually generous; everyone will easily leave satisfied. The cozy dining room where we sat was extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. The dishes and the stories behind them were wonderfully presented. The absolute highlights were the bread tortellini, the Black Orange dessert (fermented orange), and the excellent selection of non-alcoholic beverages. Highly recommended!

06/05/2026: We wanted to grab lunch, and for some reason, I'd pinned this restaurant to my maps at some point. There's plenty of parking. We got a great table outside with a view of the mountains. We really liked the atmosphere. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. Even the amuse-bouche (a shot of asparagus cream soup) showed us what exceptional quality we could expect. The bread basket was amazing, followed by our appetizers (three kinds of dumplings and a mixed salad). Both were fantastic! For our main course, we had Wiener Schnitzel, which tasted very good, but wasn't a truly unique experience. However, as someone who lived in Vienna for a few years, it's hard, if not impossible, to find a place that really blows you away. The gnocchi with tomatoes, burrata, and scallops were fantastic. Overall, it's a very special cuisine with perfectly balanced dishes. This is what makes dining enjoyable, and the high prices are absolutely justified given the quality of the ingredients and the preparation. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to have a truly enjoyable meal. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!

02/06/2026: Even though it was a short stay, the hospitality and professionalism of the entire staff were extraordinary. The spa was perfect, and the restaurant even better, with exceptional cuisine and an extremely thorough and competent maître d'.

15/05/2026: I didn't visit the accommodations, only the view from the location. Sensational. The accommodations were closed in May when I visited.

06/04/2026: There are many beautiful places in the world, but for over 40 years, Chalet Gerard has been my absolute dream destination!!! 😍 It's always like "coming home"—everything is just perfect here! A quick stop for some strudel is a must, and staying overnight in the beautiful rooms with delicious food is simply divine! 08/06/2026: Exclusive ambiance. Beautiful courtyard, beautiful restaurant interior, super friendly hostess, excellent wine list. The menu changes regularly; we've been there several times and there's always something new to taste. The waitress is exceptional. She was always incredibly friendly, did her job perfectly, and was always up for a joke. Unfortunately, the waiter we had this time was a bit off his game. He simply made three or four mistakes too many to warrant a five-star rating. We'll definitely be back, though, and if things improve next time, we'll adjust the rating. This restaurant is one of the best on the Wine Route. We were there again last week (June 2026), again with new menus, and the food was once again delicious and beautifully presented. The service was better this time. However, the wine prices on the menu never match the prices at the winery, as they tell you. For example, none of the three white Lafoas cost anywhere near €51 at the Schreckbichl winery.

27/01/2026: Excellent hotel, we stayed two nights and everything was perfect. Beautiful room, lovely wellness area, excellent breakfast and super-superb dinner. The staff was always friendly and helpful. There's a bike path in front of the hotel, a bus stop 30 meters away, and ample parking. Kudos to the management and all the staff.

17/05/2026: It's absolutely lovely. They have a wide variety of cakes and fruit pies that they make themselves. All the ones we tried were delicious, and their coffee is great too. The place has a stunning view, and the person who greeted us was very kind and helpful, and she explained which ones weren't suitable for us (those with gelatin). I'll definitely go back on this trip, and it's definitely worth visiting again if I come to the area in the future.

13/05/2026: A true gem amidst the sea of ​​uniformity in the restaurant scene. The cake is absolutely delicious and unique. Excellent Blattlan with cabbage. Very nice, polite owner. Charming little place.
