Buon Gusto Gelateria In Pienza

23/03/2026: Well-kept atmosphere, very nice and friendly staff, excellent dishes, a lovely experience for the food and the lovely atmosphere.

19/03/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by the owners, who made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was very charming and attentive to detail. Soft jazz music accompanied us throughout the evening. And how can I describe what we ate? One of the few adjectives that comes to mind is: (I spell it because it better conveys the idea) AWESOME!!! We had a beer and a water, as an appetizer: baked pecorino cheese with crispy capocollo, pappardelle with white sausage ragù (I don't remember the specific name, but it wasn't just any sausage), tagliatelle paglia e fieno with pesto and toasted hazelnut crumbs, pork loin cooked in the oven with scamorza cheese and crispy capocollo, and a side of blanched fennel sautéed in the oven with butter and agretti. Finally, dessert: tozzetti with vin santo, zuppa inglese, and coffee. All for €70, a more than fair price. Furthermore, in addition to the service: truly impeccable, it is worth considering that: all the foods are homemade where possible, such as the pasta, pesto, pappardelle, obviously the ragù, all - except for the cantucci made by a nearby bakery - homemade desserts, and then do we need to talk about the pork shoulder cbt?!? So good and melting that it was hard to believe it was actually pork shoulder, usually used for roasts... a beautiful and very welcome surprise also the cooking method that not everyone is familiar with but which makes the dish a true spectacle, as well as this pork shoulder! Thank you for this wonderful experience (because that's how we want to define it without a doubt)!!! We will definitely visit again!
