02/01/2026: I've been going to this restaurant for over 30 years. The atmosphere has been renovated. The prices have gone up, but the quality hasn't. It now has a more modern feel, and the dishes are banal, and the ingredients, in my opinion, are no longer the same. If it used to be worth traveling a few extra miles to eat good value, that's no longer the case. Sorry.

14/12/2025: Quiet, clean, and tidy place, no waiting with reservations. Quick service, and pasta and meat options available for those with fish or shellfish intolerances.

25/02/2026: During our stay in Venice this year, we ate at Frary's. When making the reservation, we were told we only had 75 minutes, as the table would be booked again afterward. This wouldn't have been a problem in itself; we arrived on time, but the restaurant was still closed. Taking our order then took a while, even though we were the only guests at that point. As a result, with our three-course meal, we were about 15 minutes overdue, but we weren't pressured to hurry or pay. Perhaps they should consider extending the waiting time to 90 minutes? The restaurant seemed cozy, but the tables were very close together. You had to be careful not to knock anything off the table. Most of our dishes were delicious and tasty. Unfortunately, my wife, being vegetarian, couldn't choose one of the few vegetarian main courses (the vegetarian tagine) that evening. The restaurant is definitely a good option if you want to eat something other than the usual pasta/pizza in Venice, but there is still room for improvement.

24/02/2026: A small restaurant with a rich ethnic menu opposite the beautiful Frari Church. The dining room is well-decorated and bright, with a few charming waterfront tables for lunch in the sun. Excellent menu featuring fish, meat, and vegetarian dishes. Friendly service. Excellent value.

10/01/2026: A welcoming and elegant venue, with courteous, friendly, and attentive staff. The dishes are served with care, are generously sized, and of excellent quality. Service times are very slow. If you're in a hurry, it's definitely best to let the staff know. I have no doubt that every need will be met with the utmost care. It's a very comfortable place. Highly recommended by the Vetrine Friulane Facebook group!

07/01/2026: Unfortunately, we weren't able to go to the restaurant on December 26th because we had our elderly grandparents with us, but the Ae Do Panche staff was, as always, exceptional. They prepared a truly impeccable takeout meal, with attention to every detail. The quality of the fish, as it has been for many years, was excellent: incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. The value for money was excellent. Special thanks to Alessandro, the chef, who was incredibly talented and attentive: he immediately understood our needs and allowed us to impress all our guests. Everyone was satisfied and delighted. An absolute confirmation for those seeking quality fish and great professionalism. Highly recommended!

27/03/2026: This hotel was the highlight of our trip to Italy. The hotel is simply stunning and elegant with exceptional staff. The rooms are comfortable and unbelievably gorgeous. The private tour of the Doge palace was unbelievable and the sunset tour was breathe taking. The other thing we enjoyed the most was going to the market with the chef who then prepared a meal from what we picked. It was so memorable and unique and delicious. We were with our 8 year old daughter and she is still in a trance from how much she loved this hotel. She could not stop looking at the ceilings. Thank you so much

12/03/2026: A beautiful palace – a historic residence that transports you back in time. You feel like royalty because the service is outstanding! The team is fantastic and absolutely professional… they take care of every detail and are very attentive and kind… the restaurant is haute cuisine… the location is unbeatable… the spa massage professionals are physiotherapists… I had a massage session with Valerio, he's an angel! Very professional… thank you all so much for the warm welcome and constant attention.

26/01/2026: We had a truly wonderful Sunday lunch. Romina accommodated us in every way: seating us in the quietest room, letting us choose both the toppings for our bigoli and the dessert selection for the final "palette," and always making us feel like she had everything under control, even with a busy restaurant. The dishes were tasty, plentiful, and beautifully presented, and the price was more than fair. What can I say: well done, and...see you soon!!!

20/03/2026: The food is very good, but after ordering the €20 set menu (first course, second course, and salad), I was informed that the second course I wanted was no longer available once the first course had been cleared away. The other menu options didn't appeal to me. I stopped at the first course, which they charged me €15 for! All for a mistake on their part…
