28/08/2024: We came across gelato fantasy whilst walking down the backstreets of Venice, we had tried a couple of other places but they didn't have any options for non dairy, as my wife is dairy intolerant. Christine was really friendly and showed us the wide choice of non dairy options , we sat inside and it was clean and air conditioned. The ice creams were absolutely delicious and the cost was very reasonable especially for Venice.

10/12/2024: Beautiful restaurant with many large rooms for events. Very professional service and top food. I think the price was around 40 euros per person as I was a non-paying guest!!! I recommend it.

30/07/2024: On the recommendation of the very friendly innkeeper, we had the mixed seafood starter platter and then Gnocchi alla Putanesca. Both shared by two people, which wasn't a problem at all. The world's best tiramisu and mandarin sorbet for dessert. Everything excellent!! Ambiance so nice and quiet right on a canal, just two parallel streets from Via Garibaldi. You have to want to go here to find it. And actually you shouldn't rate it at all, so that nothing but nothing changes here! Liquorizza as a digestive a new discovery for us...

23/07/2024: The food was fresh and of high quality, which I truly appreciated. The ingredients were clearly chosen with care, and the dishes were well-prepared. However, I found myself missing the "wow" factor that I have come to expect from Michelin-starred establishments. The creativity and boldness in flavor that typically set these restaurants apart were somewhat lacking here. Additionally, the dessert was a bit disappointing. It didn't quite match the high standards set by the rest of the meal and left me wanting more in terms of taste and presentation. While the dining experience was enjoyable, I believe there's room for improvement to truly elevate it to the Michelin star level. Overall, a good meal but not quite the extraordinary experience I anticipated.

23/07/2024: I can say that it was a wonderful experience, a perfect choice of very tasty dishes. I, who love gastronomy, can say an excellent choice for those who want to eat well in a super pleasant environment with excellent professionals!

07/07/2024: Luca excellent cameriere. Food well presented, tasty. Reservations needed well in advance. €158 for shrimp in coriander sauce (excellent), sea bass filet (good), one veggie plate to share, one Prosecco, one glass white, strawberry dessert. We have been before, maybe not a go back for us as other places to try.

29/06/2024: I was in Venice to eat in 11 restaurants, all different but chosen over 12 months before the trip, to show what Venice was capable of. Osteriere Alle Testiere was ‘up there’, to be honest they all were. It’s a small restaurant, sneaking by earlier in the day I saw freshly purchased produced on the table by the kitchen, a good sign. Everything is Fresh, I mean really fresh. The menu is inventive, tastes varying from subtle to in your face. Local wines are a speciality and do real justice to the food coming out of the kitchen. Pilgrim Scallops with Lemon and peppermint were a revelation, perfectly cooked, soft and tender, the Lemon and Mint was not overpowering, a background flavour that danced on the palate, awesome. Being a seafood junkie the main was Prawns with Coriander, Ginger and Lime, and some local vegetables like a kind of ratatouille. Wow wow wow, another lip smacking plate of food. I am a diabetic so don’t eat too many desserts, those on offer were extremely tempting but this was early on in an 11 restaurant marathon so didn’t go for any of the 10! Options available! Earlier that day, I had purchased a cookery book, Venetian Republic, when I thumbed through it back at the Hotel, one of the restaurants desserts was featured, the Pistachio cake, I will be making that for sure. Osteria Alle Testiere is a must do place to eat, I booked it months in advance, it’s small, they were turning people away. Book early and don’t be disappointed.

14/12/2024: Cena di compleanno con amici (pochi). Locale strapieno con gente in attesa del tavolo per la serata del giovedì a tema bollito misto. Servizio rapido e gentile, un po' in confusione. Frastuono generale . Il carrello dei bolliti con carni ottime, un tantino troppo cotte. Discreti i contorni buoni i vini sfusi della casa.

07/12/2024: Excellent trattoria whose specialty is home cooking prepared by Mrs. Rosanna aided by her two children Cristiano and Barbara and her grandchildren. Three generations who know how to do their job with professionalism. The food is nothing short of amazing with delicious homemade first courses, from gnocchi to tagliatelle to crepes paired with seasonal condiments. The game in which the Roma restaurant specializes is also excellent. The place is the same as it was many years ago with small changes where you can feel the atmosphere of home

20/09/2024: We have been to Bibione many times, but for the first time in this hotel and we can really recommend it. Everything just fits! We felt very comfortable in the room, the breakfast was TOP and of course the bar on the roof is very special. This view is just a dream! What is very important to us is the friendliness of the staff and the service. Here too we can only report positive things. A special thank you to Sonja (Reception). She is a ray of sunshine and really does everything for her guests! We'll definitely be back!
