Classic Venetian canal dining. While the portion sizes are relatively small, the food was wonderful and service was impeccable. The host, Gloria, was particularly helpful. Overall, a very comfortable and pleasant restaurant to spend an evening. Would recommend.

Yesterday, June 2, 2026, we had dinner at Club del Doge to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The food was excellent from the appetizers to the desserts, and the wine list is also outstanding. The only area that could be improved is the service. At times, we felt pressured to choose our dishes as quickly as possible. We had just sat down and had barely started reading the menu when the waiter was already asking to take our order. Throughout the evening, we were interrupted several times by different members of the staff asking whether we wanted another bottle of wine, even though our current bottle was still nearly full. Sometimes less is more, and I believe that is something they should keep in mind when it comes to service.

Club del Doge was the perfect way to start our honeymoon in Venice. The setting was incredibly romantic, and the entire evening felt special from start to finish. The food was absolutely outstanding. The wagyu beef, sea bass, fried artichokes, and soufflé were some of the best dishes we had during our trip. Every plate was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. Combined with attentive service and a stunning atmosphere, this was a truly memorable dining experience. If you’re looking for a special dinner in Venice, Club del Doge is a must.

Ended up with a reservation here by mistake, but what a wonderful mistake! Alan is the best {multilingual} waiter one could hope for. The food was delicious. Perfect pace. The rest of the team was lovely too. Will be back for sure. ✨

My husband and I celebrated an elopement wedding and decided to come here. It was beyond our expectations. Personal is very very attentive. I had sent an email asking for a reservation and I was not on the list the day before, so the captain Enrico was very helpful and solved it. Also the view to the canal is as good as it gets.

Dining on Grand Canal, across from Basilica Santa Maria was quite an experience. Hemingway risotto was 10/10.

Service was great food was good got sick after eating there but tasted fine had their Veil and the spaghetti with carpachio starter

Incredible setting right on the Grand Canal, easily one of the best locations you can dine in Venice. Sitting on the terrace watching gondolas pass by makes the whole experience feel special. The atmosphere is elegant and quite theatrical rather than relaxed, with proper silver service and very attentive staff. The wine list is extensive and there’s pretty much anything you could want. The food itself was good, tasty, and well balanced in terms of flavours, but the portions were on the smaller side. That said, it’s extremely expensive, even for Venice. €57 for poached egg and asparagus and €9 for an espresso says it all. You’re definitely paying for the location and overall experience as much as the food. Would I go again? Depends what you’re after. If you want a luxurious, “occasion” meal with standout views and polished service, it’s worth it. If you’re looking for great food in a more relaxed setting and don’t want to spend around €400 for two, there are better options elsewhere.

Amazing place. We chose this restaurant for our wedding anniversary, and it was absolutely the right decision. The level of service and professionalism is exceptional. Every dish is perfectly balanced in taste, texture, and execution. The children’s menu offers both variety and the same level of quality as the main menu, which is rare and very much appreciated. The overall atmosphere is simply stunning. Highly recommended.
