We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary there. It was a delight. The service was perfect. We chose the set menu, and every single dish was a revelation. Since it's a gourmet restaurant, you know you'll pay accordingly. But for us, it was worth every penny.

An incredible meal in a stunning location. Everything about this meal was magical. The ambiance, the wait staff...everyone that interacted with us was so professional and kind. The food was extremely tasty. We also ate here for breakfast several days and everything was delicious.

We came to Club del Doge for lunch, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable meals of our trip. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel truly welcome. Our waiter recommended the RISOTTO “HEMINGWAY-STYLE” which is a signature dish, and it was absolutely phenomenal—rich, perfectly cooked, and full of incredible flavor. We also ordered the raw amberjack and the tomato for starters, both of which were beautifully presented and showcased the freshness and quality of the ingredients. Every course was elegant yet full of character. For dessert, we had the pineapple carpaccio, and I can honestly say it was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten in my life. It was light, refreshing, beautifully balanced, and the perfect ending to an outstanding meal. The atmosphere is simply one of a kind. Whether you’re enjoying lunch overlooking the Grand Canal or celebrating a special occasion, the setting is elegant, peaceful, and unforgettable. Exceptional service, phenomenal food, and an atmosphere that makes the entire experience feel truly special. A restaurant we would return to in a heartbeat.

Beautiful restaurant with delicious food and one of the most stunning views in Venice. The Bellini made with fresh peaches was excellent and the red prawns were incredibly fresh. Don’t leave without trying the tiramisu, it was one of the highlights of our meal. The only disappointment came at the end. We wanted to order ice cream, which is served as three scoops. I politely asked if the scoops could be served on three separate plates so we could each have one. The manager refused. Instead, he brought one bowl of ice cream with three empty plates. It was a small request that would have cost nothing, so I honestly didn’t understand the refusal. It slightly spoiled an otherwise wonderful experience. Overall, it’s a lovely place with great food, beautiful views, and definitely worth visiting.

Service “disappointing” food “okay” do not recommend Beautiful location but the service of the Gritti Palace restaurant was not up to par and was disappointing for a €400+ dinner. For context, we were dressed very nicely and on our honeymoon, which the hostess knew. For the good, was given a lovely table at edge of water. The wine and champagne was very nice. Was given a detailed overview of the menu which we appreciated. We started with two glasses of rosé champagne (delicious) and the artichoke appetizer (bland). From there it went downhill. Some of this may seem silly but for a restaurant like this it’s quite bad and disappointing. Received bread after about 15 minutes. We then finished our champagne and water and weren’t asked if we wanted more so when our food was brought out we had to ask for the wine list. We waited to begin eating for ~7 minutes for our drinks. There were only perhaps 5 other tables So it wasn’t busy. We also asked for another large bottle of water which was never poured for us. Having to pour your own €10 water at a restaurant such as this for a celebratory dinner is wild! I don’t want to say it’s because we are American, but the table of two Parisians next to us were asked multiple times if they wanted more wine etc. Also, we are pretty sure his €42 per glass Chardonnay was a screw top bottle. Husband had the caviar spaghetti (he loved) and I had the lamb chops which were tasty and cooked perfectly. However, the detailed menu overview by the server said it would come with three chops and I only received two. Didn’t realize until the end. Very odd. Again, this may seem nitpicking but for over €400 you expect excellence and the restaurant didn’t live up to that. Do not recommend

A must do when in Venice - make sure to reserve in advance to have a table on the front water. Service, food and view are fantastic- do not hesitate

From the view, to the food, and the excellent service how does one go wrong? This is easily one of the best dinners we have ever had. Very relaxing. Top of the line service. Every dish had so much flavor. A must have when in Venice.
