A place steeped in history, it was once Venice's airport. It is currently used for tourist and private flights. The interior features period features and furnishings. It also features an excellent restaurant.

Good lawn Fast refueling service, but be aware that the online prices do not match the prices on site. JetA1 was €2.95 instead of €2.20. No chance of getting a meal at the restaurant without a reservation, but toast is available at the bar. An overnight stay including landing fee C172 for €70 is quite expensive. Bus to the vaporetto ferry is a 5-minute walk or about 1 km on foot.

Loved the service and the location Avgas is available The grass runway is rather smooth You can take a water taxi from your hotel in Venice right to the airport, fast and convenient 👌 The lobby is beautifully decorated Also there is a nice family restaurant onsite

The interior is a true design gem – I recommend it to fans of the Italian 1920s and 1930s – Art Deco, Futurism, the cult of the machine… The map of flight connections is also fascinating – the airport was the gateway to Mussolini's Mare Nostrum empire at the time.

The airport is a gem from the glory days of aeronautics, boasting a 100-year history. The first aircraft took off here in 1915. The current exhibition is housed in a bunker in front of the actual airport, beautifully evoking the 1960s and 70s when flying was still something special. There's also a pleasant restaurant overlooking the runway. It's also a good choice in summer, as the exhibition is located in a basement.

16/08/2026: What is love? Everything, nothing, sometimes you find it in the little things, sometimes in a thought and sometimes simply in a dish... and in the care even of the little gestures... I will miss all of this... Thank you for everything, you are one great family.
15/08/2026: We ate dinner there twice, and both times the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The waiters were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

21/05/2026: It's a shame my dog ​​now has to wear a muzzle and can't even drink water. Sadly, this will be my last visit.
19/05/2026: We were here for dinner on Sunday evening, May 17th, 2026. It wasn't crowded yet. The food was very good: two regular pizzas, two calzone pizzas, and one mussel dish. Everything tasted really good, and the portions were just right. We also had salads, which were crisp and fresh. The service was very friendly and attentive. Always on hand. But as I said, it wasn't very busy yet. We'll come again; let's see what it's like when it's busier... We wish the staff a great season.
