20/04/2026: We chose this restaurant for an event for about twenty people. Everything was impeccable, thanks to the manager's extreme availability and kindness, even in accommodating menu additions and changes. The food was very well prepared, and the dining room was truly superb. The wait staff were also excellent, smiling and attentive to every need. I highly recommend this place, especially for a delicious dinner with good wine.
18/04/2026: Dining at this osteria is literally like stepping back in time. Authentic flavors that can no longer be savored like they once were, especially the house-made cured meats and cheeses, but above all, the attentive service of a staff ready to welcome and pamper you from the first to the last minute.
At Osteria del Frate Dalla Manica Larga, the attention paid to guests goes beyond the mere professional relationship. It's palpable how both the owner and the entire staff are happy to open the doors of the restaurant to you and make you feel literally at home, offering a warmth and friendliness that is hard to find these days.

03/05/2026: A place with outdoor seating offering views of the mill (still in operation!) and the Brenta Canal. Aperitif with a delicious €4 spritz and chips. You can also add ciccetti, tramezzini, or fried foods (I love the mozzarella in carrozza, delicious if a little greasy).
Recommended for an aperitif!
03/05/2026: Beautiful and well-maintained atmosphere. Excellent cigars.
The beer selection is terrible; the only one on tap is even poorly poured.
The service definitely leaves much to be desired. No one visits the tables; you go in to ask to order and they tell you they'll come outside. It's a minimum 20-minute wait, with maybe half the tables outside occupied and the inside empty.
The icing on the cake, when it came time to pay, we were rudely told they don't do separate bills.
I don't think I'll be back, given the wide selection of bars in the area.

25/01/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at Villa Goetzen. A charming place, restored with great attention to its history and masterfully furnished.
The dishes are surprising in their combinations, a quest for innovation, and respect for tradition.
Compliments to the chefs for their skill in juggling successful ventures with excellent ingredients. Bravo to Pietro, who has found the kitchen the ideal place to express his creativity.
Highly recommended!

04/03/2026: Very good takeaway pizzeria in the Dolomite area. I highly recommend the Bronte pizza, and in my opinion the one with pumpkin cream. Top-quality ingredients, exceptional pasta, and friendly, helpful staff. Kudos to Stefano and his family. A guarantee!

01/04/2026: Beautiful place with excellent food, but it's a shame the whole thing is ruined by rudeness. This morning I went for breakfast, and as soon as it was my turn, the girl with long hair and tattoos served me in a rather annoyed way, without saying hello and practically throwing the plate at me. Not to mention that she was always on her phone and didn't pay attention to anyone... If I have to go to a place and be treated like a nuisance, I'd better not come in. I'm really sorry to write this review because I've been going there all my life, but since they changed staff, it's not like it used to be.
08/03/2026: Definitely my favourite place in Dolo. It has perfect outdoor seating - a little sun trap by the gorgeous canal (whete you can spot turtules, lizards and collect wild herbs). Equally good for drinks & aperitivos as for cakes and coffees (incl. non diary options). Staff are super friendly too. Good to note, they do the little cakes as take away trays, and everything is priced resonably.

A very romantic place, with a view of the old mill and the Brenta Canal while enjoying your sushi 🍣. Efficient takeout service. Delicious and beautiful sushi. We'll most likely see you again in Ginza di Dolo.

01/03/2026: So today I happened upon this restaurant, which from the outside doesn't look like much, but inside the atmosphere changes.
I ordered peppered mussels, which was pleasant, but it arrived with tomato sauce. I wanted it plain, okay, I ate it anyway, but it was a shame it had no flavor at all.
Then I had to wait for the other tables to order their starters so they could bring out a dish for me too, since in this restaurant starters are for two people and I'm one.
Okay, we're waiting. It's been more than 35 minutes, and finally they bring me the starter, a good seafood risotto. The wait was long, but it was worth it, the risotto was good, fortunately.
Since I'm still hungry, I had a small grilled fish dish made. I'm waiting.
Okay.
01/03/2026: A restaurant-pizzeria with a retro feel!
Very homey and inattentive service.
You wait a long time from ordering a pizza to its arrival.
The pizza is very large but extremely thin (it seems as thick as a piadina).
The ingredients were not of high quality (for example, the Philadelphia cheese pizza looked like it was placed with a garden shovel, a whole tub divided into four sections inserted into the four corners of the pizza; very unpleasant to look at and especially to eat).
What left me perplexed is that I think it's inappropriate to charge €1.50 for the box to take away the pizza after a bill of over €400...! Truly inelegant.
I definitely won't be returning.

26/11/2025: Delicious kebab, ordered from Deliveroo and tried for the first time, truly excellent. One of the best in the area, it was also large and full of ingredients. Top notch.
24/11/2025: The döner kebab was legendary, even better than the döner kebabs in Türkiye. You know how you eat it abroad and think it tastes the same, but it's not good enough? This was even better than the one you had in your hometown. 👍🏼👍🏼

28/03/2026: A beautiful, modern, and trendy bistro in the center of Dolo.
The staff is friendly and courteous.
The prices are reasonable for the sophisticated setting. I returned with a friend for a spritz and a Hugo, and the atmosphere is always pleasant and spotlessly clean. The staff is always very friendly. The price, €9.50, is reasonable for the setting.
26/03/2026: After a visit to Villa Pisani, we stumbled upon this place somewhat by chance. I was pleasantly surprised. Personally, I found everything to be top-notch: the food, its presentation, the wine, the service, the ambiance. I didn't check out the "large menu" because the cicchetti menu alone is enough to make you undecided!
I live abroad and was disappointed not to be able to return to this bistro more often.
Well done, and thank you for the pleasant time I spent with you.

29/03/2026: A historic venue in the Dolo area. Spacious and well-appointed, with plenty of seating, and a helpful and courteous staff. Fast service with a varied menu. The quality is certainly good, but the prices are average for this type of venue. The musical entertainment is pleasant and engaging.

18/12/2025: Satisfactory experience. Easily accessible with nearby parking, decent menu selection, and good food quality. Attentive and helpful staff. Good air conditioning and acoustics. The decor is tasteful, but table spacing could be improved. Wheelchair accessible, but with some difficulty. Recommended.
