16/07/2026: A lovely little restaurant located in the center of Portogruaro, next to the town hall. A few dishes, but all well-made with quality ingredients. The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. I'll be back!

15/03/2026: Saturday night dinner for four. The place was busy but well-managed, with a pleasant atmosphere and comfortable tables. Service was quick, courteous, and always attentive. We ordered a perfectly cooked picanha rare, extremely tender ribs, and two truly flavorful burgers. We rounded out the meal with a varied dessert menu. Excellent value for money. Ample parking. A very positive experience, definitely a place to return.

18/05/2026: We've been to this pizzeria before. The pizzas are unusual, but not great. The prices are outrageous compared to other good pizzerias in the area. We definitely won't be back.

10/05/2026: The best gelato in Portogruaro, and I'll start by saying I come from a family with two generations of gelato makers in Caorle. They're also very creative in their combinations of unique flavors. I'm always happy to travel the miles to get there because it's truly worth it.

The veal cheek goulash is absolutely worth it, but I would have also enjoyed the pappardelle with pistachio cream (which they were eating at the next table). Too bad I couldn't have both the first and second courses. Next time... Anyway, highly recommended!

26/07/2026: Please note, the management has changed, and it was a disappointment. Yesterday, July 25, 2026, around 8:45 PM, I went to this restaurant with my mother-in-law, a visiting friend, and two 9-year-old girls. I politely asked for a table for three adults and two girls. From the first moment, I had the feeling they were looking for excuses not to serve us. First, I was told there were no seats available outside. However, there were two free tables. When I pointed this out, they replied that those tables could no longer be occupied because it was getting late. I accepted the explanation and said we could sit inside. Then another excuse arrived: they told me they were short-staffed and that we would have to wait about 20 minutes before being served. I replied that it was no problem and that in the meantime, we would go get a drink next door. Instead of accepting this solution, another excuse arrived. I was told that, in reality, they didn't even know if they would be able to serve us due to the lack of staff, and shortly thereafter, we were informed that they wouldn't serve us. The strangest thing was that the restaurant wasn't at all full. There were two free tables outside, and only three or four inside. For this reason, the constant justifications seemed unbelievable. Every time I agreed to a condition or proposed a solution, a new excuse would emerge. In the end, the conclusion was simply that they wouldn't serve us. I left feeling deeply sad and disappointed. The Barchessa has a very special meaning to me, because it's where my husband proposed to me. It's truly sad to return to such an important place and feel like you're not welcome. I can't say what the real reason for this was. However, as a Black woman, I couldn't help but feel that my skin color may have influenced the way I was treated. I sincerely hope I'm wrong, but that's the feeling I left with. Unfortunately, with the change in management, the experience was completely different from what I fondly remembered.

An extraordinary variety of pizzas, with thoughtful and never boring combinations, capable of surprising with every bite. The doughs deserve a special mention: light, fragrant, perfectly matured, and truly enjoyable to savor until the last bite. I chose the chili pepper dough and found it simply amazing: character, flavor, and personality without being invasive. A real discovery! You can sense the passion, research, and desire to offer something different, without chasing trends but creating an authentic and high-quality experience. Thank you for introducing us to new flavors, surprising combinations, and a way of interpreting pizza that's truly worth trying. Highly recommended experience. Good wine km 0 excellent. Recently tried vegetable and shrimp risotto exquisite. What more do you want?

30/07/2026: A hidden gem for tourists. An incredibly nice place with (very friendly) locals. The staff was very nice, helpful, and spontaneous, it was very nicely decorated with attention to children, and the breakfast was top-notch. We enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace. We would love to come back if we are in the area.
