22/01/2025: Il nome è tutto un programma, comunque non fanno solo cibo fritto, ho mangiato degli ottimi gamberi rossi di Sicilia crudi serviti in una cornice bellissima. Linguine con mezzo astice, abbondante e ben condite, ottime. La gestione è familiare, veloce e attenta, bravissimi in cucina a dare sempre un tocco particolare ad ogni piatto. Prezzo onesto. Noi ci torneremo sicuramente. Come dolce consiglio il babà al rum: strepitoso.

27/04/2025: Ci siamo recati in questo ristorante per un anniversario, avevo prenotato tramite sito scrivendo in maniera chiara il desiderio di un posto “carino”. Aspettandomi la vista sulla laguna ci siamo ritrovati in una sala con vista sul ventilatore. Il cibo era anche nella media, buona l’insalata di gallina padovana, tutto il resto decente. L’unica incomprensione è sono gli gnocchi di ricotta alle erbe, che il menù cita chiaramente la presenza di “spalla cotta” per poi ritrovarsela sotto forma di 10 grammi di polvere. Ciò che sorprende per un esperienza assolutamente nella norma è il prezzo, 57€ a testa! Per essere completamente fuori Venezia centro e ripeto, con un cibo non scarso, ma assolutamente nella norma. Incredibile il pollo fritto a 26€!!

04/04/2025: A mixed experience. This restaurant is tucked away on a lovely canal and clearly aims to offer a refined, slow-cooked take on traditional Italian cuisine. The setting is charming, and it seems to cater to a more “foodie” crowd, with an emphasis on quality ingredients and a fresh take on traditional italian. However, for us, the experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. While the service was professional, it really lacked any warmth, and the atmosphere felt more formal than inviting. The food was fresh and of good quality but didn’t quite deliver on flavour. For example I ordered the Vitelli Tonnato for my main dish and was surprised when it arrived as a plate of cold thinly sliced veal with dollops of anchovy sauce served on an entree size plate with nothing else .. for €26 it was a bit disappointing.. and underwhelming. At €120 for two appetisers, two small mains, and three glasses of wine, it was the most expensive meal we had in Venice—and not, in our view, the best value. While others may appreciate its more curated approach, it wasn’t quite the right fit for us.

09/03/2025: I convinced my parents to try it together and it was a wonderful surprise. The waiters are very friendly and available to provide clarifications to those who, like us, do not know Messina cuisine. The dishes are very good, you can feel that they are made with passion and quality ingredients. It is advisable to book because the place does not have many tables.

29/03/2025: A fantastic place, fabulous pizza and also the fish specialty restaurant which is highly appreciated and good. The welcoming atmosphere invites you to spend pleasant moments. The delicious aromas whet the appetite and herald an exceptional culinary experience. The care in preparing the dishes is evident in every detail. The attentive and discreet service helps to make the meal even more pleasant. An experience to certainly be repeated, to savor these delicacies again.
