28/02/2026: How good! Excellent quality ingredients, truly sophisticated and well-chosen combinations. A filling pizza with a thick crust and a slightly thicker crust than at other "Venetian" pizzerias. The restaurant's menu is stellar, with seafood pasta and fried fish dishes truly top-notch; it's hard to find anything of the same quality by the sea. Finally, the best part of this place is that the pizza chef and owner Lorenzo and his assistant Alberto are exceptional people. From the moment I met Lorenzo, he immediately treated me as if we'd known each other for years. They truly deserve the best. Obviously, a highly recommended place; I'm lucky to have it just 500 meters from home. Congratulations

25/11/2025: The appetizers were good (I sampled 5 entrees), the first course (risotto with gorgonzola, pear, shrimp, and caviar) had too many ingredients and the vortex was overwhelming, and the dessert (pineapple sorbet) was forgettable—it was just frozen pineapple juice. VERY POOR service: in addition to the endless wait for the courses (appetizers, first course, and dessert), we were seated in a room with 5 tables for a total of 21 people, a room that could have accommodated perhaps 15 people at most (to be optimistic). My seat was literally next to the table next to whose diners I had my back turned, and to whom I apologized on the way out for my definitely impolite posture (not my fault). Furthermore, I could hear everything they were saying. The service staff was also having trouble, literally handing people plates without even putting them down because they were in a tight spot. Do you want to talk about safety? Are we sure this place is legal and suitable for all the people it can accommodate? I was invited; I hope no one invites me to this restaurant again!!!

19/11/2025: Beautiful place, you feel like you're lost in a Parisian alleyway rather than in Pontevico. I went here for lunch and had the business lunch menu. Both the food and the ingredients were top-notch. The decor is very unique; I really liked the place with its eclectic style. The lunch price is very affordable, especially considering the high quality of the food.

A vast selection of quality wines. The staff is professional, friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. They are always available to accommodate your requests whenever possible. It's a restaurant I personally have no hesitation in recommending.

13/03/2026: Three excellent reasons not to return: 1. The wait: 50 minutes for a pizza. When you arrive hungry, it's not a wait, it's a test of survival. 2. The "pizza": more than a pizza, it looks like a very thin sheet of pastry, or a kind of carasau bread. Crispy and good, too... but calling it pizza is a stretch of the imagination. It would be fine as an appetizer or side dish, certainly not as a main course. Furthermore, the photos I saw online don't match what I was served this evening at all. 3. The service: as efficient as an assembly line, but with the human warmth of a vending machine. No smiles, no attention, just automatic movements. It felt like dining among robots—or zombies. Conclusion: The place is packed, the system is well-oiled, but the atmosphere is zero. You eat, pay, and leave—possibly with the promise of never returning.

19/01/2026: We went for lunch, thinking of grabbing a quick focaccia, but the wait honestly got quite long after we ordered with the tablet (which was completely understandable given the place was busy). Honestly, though, I was a bit perplexed by the focaccias, which I honestly found to be very sparsely filled: We had ordered one with soppressa and mushrooms, and this was what arrived (with some surprise fries and a quantity of mushrooms that I found to be truly minimal). I think it's fair to point this out, especially since the focaccia itself was really good, nice and crispy and tasty, but I'm a bit of the opinion that the filling could be increased, especially given the prices.

15/12/2025: I discovered Ginkgo during this trip, and it was a truly delightful surprise. I'm from Taiwan, and I often eat Japanese food and sushi there. I'm quite particular about the freshness of ingredients and the preparation, but this restaurant's experience was on par with other Asian restaurants. Although it's an All You Can Eat restaurant, I must emphasize this point—every dish is made to order, not pre-made and stored. Whether it's sushi or other hot dishes, you can taste the care put into them. The flavors are delicate, the presentation is handcrafted, and there are even some creative touches. Many people worry that all-you-can-eat meals will have lower quality, but that's not the case here at all. The ingredients are fresh, the service is consistent, and the plating is beautiful, making for a very comfortable dining experience. For this quality, the price is very reasonable, offering excellent value for money. No wonder the online reviews are so positive. If you enjoy Japanese food or sushi, Ginkgo is definitely worth a try. I highly recommend it!
