A truly pleasant surprise! Excellent food, original dishes, interesting combinations. Everything was delicious and high-quality. My heartfelt compliments! The service, managed by two young men, was also competent and friendly.

Dinner with an excellent spring menu, which includes traditional Venetian recipes and innovative dishes, interesting and carefully crafted, and high-quality food. Fast and efficient service. Extensive wine list with descriptions of its characteristics; I would suggest adding the vintage and alcohol content. The lack of background music is much appreciated, but the acoustics in the restaurant are poor; the buzz was annoying even with only four tables occupied. The atmosphere is intimate and pleasant; in my opinion, there are too many reproductions of famous paintings on the walls. There are no tablecloths on the tables, only individual synthetic placemats. The location is not the best: a roadside building in the middle of the countryside, with parking on the other side, dangerous to access due to the lack of a pedestrian crossing. Prices are reasonable (see attached receipt).

I often dine here, and what can I say? It's a welcoming place, the service is attentive and friendly, and the food is truly top-quality! I highly recommend this place!

Found on Osterie d'Italia, which I think is pretty good, to celebrate a birthday with vegetarian guests. The place was beautiful, clean, and tidy. The welcome and table service were excellent. A varied and intriguing menu that satisfied everyone (there were 11 of us), with a wine and spirits list you wouldn't expect to find in the Padua countryside, and for which we relied on the young woman who served us. It's hard to remember all the dishes, but from what I heard, they were all more than excellent. The bill, weighed down by the drinks... well, it was fair. Definitely a new address to add to my favorites.

I had high expectations, but L'Operaio dei Fornelli far exceeded them. The atmosphere is refined and welcoming: from the moment you enter, you're captivated by a well-stocked wine cellar, with numerous labels, many lesser-known but of great quality, allowing you to enjoy great wines at affordable prices. On the walls, famous actors and Venetian phrases find an original and perfectly executed mix. The dining room is simple but decorated with almost obsessive attention to detail. The furnishings are comfortable without being invasive; several paintings, including reproductions of famous artists, enrich the atmosphere without weighing it down. The real revelation, however, was the cuisine. I tried the Paduan chicken salad served with candied mustard: the sweet and spicy mustard enhanced the tender and succulent shredded chicken. Next, a great classic of Venetian cuisine: musso with polenta. Tender and flavorful meat, surely cooked for many hours over a very low flame, with a balanced, never-overpowering spiciness. For dessert, an unsweetened panna cotta accompanied by Friularo sauces: their natural acidity perfectly balanced the richness of the cream, creating a harmonious and never cloying finish. The dishes reveal a deep knowledge of the region, the raw materials, and the production techniques. A strong attachment to tradition is evident, enhanced with an elegant touch of innovation.

The restaurant is tastefully and simply furnished, and the dishes are well-prepared and made with excellent ingredients. Traditional Venetian cuisine expertly revisited.

A historic restaurant in the Padua countryside, completely renovated and serving traditional dishes with a modern twist. Very friendly staff. Prices are a bit higher than average, but the quality is very high.
