I had dinner on a Saturday evening and it was my first time. I found a small environment with tables too close together (if I stretched out an arm I almost touched the other guests), a bit chaotic and the service was not the best because I think that when there are 2 of you at least the courses (the hot ones) should arrive together instead it was like that only for the dessert.

In other words: an eccentric, confusing, but delicious experience. A cellar cleaner decorated the place, but otherwise the food has a very pleasant disarray. The combinations bring together various cuisines from around the world, seemingly chaotic but then come together to create a very pleasant flavor. The prawns in kataifi pastry are a must, the five tastings are five surprises, the scampi in a sort of mini piñata with vegetables. For the main course, a delicious turbot with champagne foam and a very good tuna cooked twice a day. I'll be back to try the risotto and other specials of the day...

Truly a stunning place with a unique atmosphere... I'd say it's excellent for romantic dinners ;) The service is impeccable and the food is divine... And it's really cheap for lunch. I highly recommend it if you're in the area. Better to book, as it's very popular.

Just steps from the square, with convenient parking, lies Osteria Il Gambero di Pontevico. The restaurant isn't particularly bright, but it's still welcoming and well-organized. Space is used very efficiently to accommodate as many people as possible, without sacrificing a certain overall elegance: the atmosphere feels refined and refined, despite its small size. The menu is extensive and well-structured, with a clear focus on seafood. For lunch, I chose the mixed salad with shrimp, scampi, and calamari and was pleasantly surprised. The dish was generous, complete, and well-balanced, with clean, distinctive flavors. A fresh and satisfying offering that leaves a lasting impression and encourages you to return for more seafood dishes. Service was quick and efficient, despite the busy lunch hour. For this reason, reservations are recommended, even during the week, as the restaurant is very popular.
