26/10/2025: Excellent lunch at Hosteria San Benedetto! Delicious fried porcini mushrooms and melt-in-your-mouth raw ham. Fusiglioni with prosciutto and truffle and bigoli with vegetables were truly excellent, with authentic and well-balanced flavors. Superb desserts: crepes with ice cream and raspberries and puff pastry with pears, both delicious. Impeccable service, a refined atmosphere, and excellent value. Definitely worth returning! 🍷🍝🍰

26/10/2025: At Hosteria San Benedetto, every dish reflects care, balance, and a passion for fine cuisine. We started with crispy fried porcini mushrooms and a soft, fragrant prosciutto. The first courses were a triumph of flavor: creamy and aromatic fusilli with prosciutto and truffle, and perfectly creamed bigoli with vegetables. To finish, two desserts: a crepe with ice cream and raspberries and a fragrant pear puff pastry. Attentive service, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent value: a place definitely worth recommending and a place to return to. 🌿🍷

05/11/2025: What a gem! We walked in at 7:30 pm without a reservation. They quickly set up a table for us (5 people)... Amazing! The staff were fantastic and the food was WOW! We'll be back!

02/11/2025: I wasn't entirely satisfied with this medieval-style pizzeria. The first thing that bothered me was the music: heavy metal, totally out of place for a place like this. And when the music wasn't playing, radio commercials would come on. A serious restaurant, if it wants to create atmosphere, doesn't simply tune in to any radio station—and above all, it doesn't play commercials to customers who pay to enjoy a pleasant experience. The second thing I didn't like was the owners' attitude. Outside, there's a sign warning that separate receipts are not issued. I can understand that; in a city of students, it can be complicated. But finding the same phrase on the first page of the menu changes everything: from a simple request, it becomes a hostile attitude toward the customer. Browsing the menu, the situation gets worse: it's written in large letters that "additions and modifications to pizzas are charged from €1 to €3"—nothing wrong with that—but immediately afterward, the phrase "please keep extra requests to a minimum" appears, clearly making it clear that the customer isn't the focus. In fact, it almost seems like they're bothering you. It doesn't matter that the table service was courteous and the pizza was actually good: with a premise like that, you're already off on the wrong foot. And the heavy metal music, in a medieval-style restaurant, was truly the straw that broke the camel's back: either turn it off completely, or at least choose something consistent with the ambiance.

The food is good, the fried foods are dry and high-quality, there's a wide selection of drinks, and the service is friendly and courteous. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the location. We'll gladly return.

Want to rediscover that delicious beer you drank that night but can't remember the name? You can! Want to step back in time and relive an evening with your schoolmates? You can! 29/10/2025: The staff is friendly and attentive to customer needs, especially regarding allergies and intolerances. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming. A wide selection of wines and excellent food. The bigoli are homemade and fantastic. I also recommend the fried chicken, which is definitely worth a try. I always love coming back. One of my favorite places.

18/10/2025: I had dinner this evening with my girlfriend. We were very pleased with the pizza. Excellent dough and top-quality ingredients. We ordered the Neapolitan dough. The desserts were equally good. I highly recommend it.
