30/08/2025: The pizza is 5-star, excellent!!! The 3 stars are for one reason only: we ordered a cured meat appetizer, which was also good, but there's a but. I don't think you should serve a cured meat appetizer without, I don't mean croutons or breadsticks, but at least two slices of bread. I'll be back, though, and I hope you've taken this modest advice into consideration.

26/05/2026: Nice atmosphere, adequate food, but rather slow service. The only thing that's outrageous are the prices, which are completely out of proportion with the portions you get. I recommend it solely because the atmosphere is nice and well-kept.

In addition to bar service 🍸, the establishment offers tobacco, lottery, bill payment, slot machines, and a TV with SKY. The establishment features the local Big Bench stamp. When we used it, the establishment was clean and the staff were friendly. The establishment is accessible to people with disabilities ♿️.

16/05/2026: We spent two nights at Hotel da Beppe Sello and overall we really enjoyed our stay 😊 The hotel has a very rustic and cozy charm; the classic wooden style blends perfectly with the surroundings and creates a truly pleasant atmosphere 🪵🏔️ Our room was rather small, but perfectly adequate and clean. One minor point of criticism for us was the mattresses – the firmness was actually quite comfortable, but there was a slight dip in the middle, which caused us to slide around a bit. This wasn't ideal for us in the long run. Due to the ongoing construction in the restaurant area, breakfast was served in a tent. You could really tell that the team was making a great effort to make the best of the situation 🙏 The selection was good and everything was lovingly prepared. Unfortunately, some condensation dripped from the tent roof, but of course, the hotel can't be held responsible for that – we just happened to be there at a slightly unfortunate time. It's also worth mentioning that there are currently several construction sites around the hotel. During the week, it can get a bit noisy in the mornings. A quick note about this when booking would be helpful 😊 Also, it's worth noting that the reception isn't staffed around the clock – this was mentioned 👍 However, the receptionist was sometimes already gone earlier than expected, which unfortunately meant we couldn't ask one of our questions. Aside from that, we had a very pleasant stay. The staff was friendly, the location was great, and we felt very comfortable there overall. We would definitely come back 👍✨

15/05/2026: We were really looking forward to our vacation, but unfortunately, we were bitterly disappointed. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations. At 7:00 a.m., the workers started arguing, so you could tell the whole place was awake. After a while, they calmed down, but the construction noise continued. Instead of the pleasant breakfast room and the nice buffet, there was a tent set up in front of the hotel. It felt like being in a cave. The tables and plates were wet, the buffet was reduced to just one table, the hot dishes were cold, and there was hardly any cold cuts except for one plate of ham. There were some "hard-boiled" eggs, ice-cold and almost completely raw. Our breakfast was completely ruined, so we drove to a grocery store to eat. If the renovations had been mentioned, we would have simply found somewhere else. As it was, it was truly awful!

15/05/2026: We go to this place often, it's cute, the pizza is good, the seafood spaghetti is excellent. We miss Raffaele, you're with us. But in honor of over thirty years with you. Valentina, always so kind.

29/04/2026: Tasteless, saltless, with barely any chili pepper, oil, or Neapolitan salami. Truly terrible flavor. Home delivery. Had to reheat in the oven because it was now COLD. My heartfelt compliments! Money wasted...

12/04/2026: I'm sorry I can't say more. The place is warm and welcoming, perhaps a little too dark on the ground floor, but the first floor is nice and bright. Lunch began with an appetizer, which was different from what we ordered. From the look of it on the plate, it wasn't pleasing to the eye. The main course was pork shank, which was half the size, but it was well-cooked and flavorful. The side dishes were good. Let's just say the quality/price ratio wasn't great. Let's hope for better next time.

04/05/2026: The panoramic terrace is worth a stop, weather permitting, and is a great place to enjoy the refuge's complimentary spritz. The dishes are very traditional (and appreciably so). The desserts are certainly not homemade (the frozen krapfen is occasionally offered, but they're duly refunded), but they meet the expectations of mountain guests (strudel, torta della nonna). Prices are in line with the mountain setting (rather high).

02/05/2026: Enchanting location, with a view that sweeps across the Dolomite peaks and the Belluno Valley, excellent service and food, worth revisiting.

20/02/2026: I haven't had the pleasure of trying the dishes served here, but just looking at it from the outside gives me a good impression. The location is wonderful, with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. It's a very peaceful and quiet place, with very few cars passing by. It's perfect for relaxing, sunny strolls, thanks to its open plateau between the Ronche and Piandelmonte hills.

24/03/2026: Breathtaking views from the terrace. Excellent buckwheat cakes with jam. In winter, you have to try the bombardino. The staff is all charmingly feminine and friendly.

19/03/2026: This was the worst Apres ski in the entire Dolomites.!! It doesn't even deserve one ☆. Apart from the amazing views, which are not related to the restaurant, a total disaster. The service was annoying, slow... we bothered them. For the first time in our lives we wanted to leave without paying. At the cash register.. the faces of the Italian woman who didn't know a word of English... ugh.. never this again

05/01/2026: A very disappointing New Year's Eve experience. The price paid was significantly high for the quality of service and food. Due to delays in the organization, the dishes were rushed to serve before midnight, compromising the overall experience. Furthermore, the menu didn't reflect the menu specifications: the artisanal panettone filled with Chantilly cream, included in the price, was never served, and instead, a pandoro arrived that didn't match the description. Overall, the value for money was unsatisfactory, and the experience didn't live up to expectations.

07/09/2025: The sweetest old lady i have ever seen

22/07/2025: It was not a nice experience! The food was not only like “pre-prepared” like the one that you buy frozen at the supermarket, the pasta was a completely deception it was the basic and the most cheapest one that you can obtain in a regular store for less that 1€ the plate was served with a basic pesto no even a good one, no even some cheese or tomatoes were added with the plate, the daily menu that is the okay one that costed 12€ and it doesn’t include any drink no even water, the second plate for me was a Caprese that was okay but not good presentation at all, furthermore inside the people were not that attentive or caring of their appearance not the place with hair from the pets in all the chairs. The second plate for my partner was even worse he couldn’t finished that one, the beens were the worst experience it was made like with a kilo of pepper or comino it was disgusting. It is sad bc this is a local place and we used to visit just the local ones to support and to know better the culture, to resume not fresh food and it is dangerous too bc with chicken and more the care must be higher. All my best to this place, and I hope this doesn’t turn into critics or offense, my intention is to inform and the observations need to be make maybe it is a chance to get better, to realize and to learn, I believe that we can always improve.

09/03/2026: Breakfast with delicious croissants, very friendly staff, and fast service, as we requested. The strudel we ordered was exquisite, with a truly unique flavor. I would return to Sappada for more!

01/03/2026: A terrible and embarrassing experience. We came in for just a coffee and a croissant with our two-and-a-half-year-old son. A perfectly normal family moment, without chaos, without shouting, without any inappropriate behavior. At one point, some milk spilled on the floor—which can happen anywhere, especially with such a small child. We finished, paid properly, and were leaving when a woman (glasses, short hair, presumably the owner) rudely and aggressively addressed us, saying that "we should have apologized" because "when you get dirty, you have to apologize" and that "upholstery costs money." All in an arrogant and impolite tone, as if we had trashed the place. We're talking about a few drops of milk spilled on the floor, not vandalism. In a bar. Where drinks are served. Especially if you welcome families with small children, you should have a minimum of understanding and good manners. Instead, we received only gratuitous nastiness and a completely inappropriate hostile attitude. A place that treats its customers—and especially its families—this way demonstrates a complete lack of professionalism and common sense. Respect comes first, and it was completely lacking here. We will never return. Shameful.
