The panoramic terrace is worth a stop, weather permitting, and is a great place to enjoy the refuge's complimentary spritz. The dishes are very traditional (and appreciably so). The desserts are certainly not homemade (the frozen krapfen is occasionally offered, but they're duly refunded), but they meet the expectations of mountain guests (strudel, torta della nonna). Prices are in line with the mountain setting (rather high).

One of the Best Places on Earth. One of the most beautiful terraces in the Dolomites, the most professional and friendly staff I've ever met, traditional Ampezzo dishes: quality, good vibes, and a breathtaking view! The owner is tough... with a tender heart, he seems gruff but is kind... then he ends up offering you a grappa 😀

Amazing location with an unforgettable view. One of the best places in whole Dolomites ! Great service, great atmosphere — everything was just perfect! Highly recommended!

27/04/2026: Passing through Feltre this morning, we specifically stopped at this pastry shop because they serve delicious pastries, brioches, and more, accompanied by excellent cappuccinos and macchiatos! The lack of a fifth star is due to the fact that last Tuesday morning, unfortunately, the pastries and desserts were quite bare... It doesn't affect the quality of the place, however, and it will continue to be my favorite! Update: I'm adding the missing star because yesterday, during my usual stop, the place was packed with pastry specials! Excellent and kind as usual.

Ristorante Alla Pineta

06/01/2026: A typical mountain hut frequented on a winter evening with friends. The atmosphere is welcoming, in keeping with the setting. The traditional dishes are average, good but not particularly special. Overall, a pleasant experience.
03/01/2026: Here, the kitchen is buzzing with activity, with quick yet basic service. It's easily accessible from Calalzo di Cadore and is located in a charming spot, ideal for hikes of varying difficulty, where the rocky landscape dominates. We enjoyed a lovely lunch in the warmth when the winter chill is felt outside.
