21/10/2025: A good place to eat if you're in or passing through Venas di Cadore. The pizzella and chicken popcorn were very good, and despite arriving a little late, we were served kindly. Eduardo also provided good service. Prices are reasonable for the area.

31/01/2026: A simple pizzeria with a wood-fired oven. Good pizza and a wide variety of pizzas on the menu, including a restaurant. Service: friendly and efficient. After a reasonable wait, they served seven different pizzas at once. Worth a try.

25/02/2026: I often order and buy from Baldisarutti, especially the pear and Nutella strudel (excellent), except this time I asked for it as usual, and at home I was surprised to find that the strudel contained sponge cake, resulting in very few pears and chocolate at an exorbitant price. 1. Not what I asked for 2. Not good Next time I'll be careful to ask for it without sponge cake since no one warned me. Thanks

13/11/2025: Bar with a lounge and video games; small but well-stocked and very clean. The owner is very friendly and always available to chat. I definitely recommend it for coffee, aperitifs, snacks, etc.

04/11/2025: Very welcoming bar along the road, very convenient parking nearby, the owner lights up the entire interior with her beautiful eyes... now the place is even brighter, with 4 gorgeous eyes.

07/09/2025: We had vegetarian pizza and French fries here and the taste was so good. Couldn’t not ask for more good. The staff was so helpful and supportive when it comes to communicating in Italian.

02/09/2025: I can only rate the pizza, not the rooms. For me, it's the best pizza in Alpago, cooked in a wood-fired oven, excellent, well-rolled dough, good ingredients. It never left me feeling sick (and I have gallstones), nor did it make me thirsty at night after eating. The price was also among the best in the area.

09/02/2026: Everything was excellent: a beautiful location, a stunning view, delicious and well-presented food (I recommend the ravioli with burrata, gorgonzola, and walnuts), attentive but not intrusive service, and excellent Wi-Fi. Side note: some pranksters stole my umbrella on a very rainy day. The owners gave me theirs in exchange, again demonstrating great customer service. I urge the perpetrators to return the umbrella to the restaurant.

09/02/2026: Overall, the food is decent, the view is beautiful, and the service is friendly. Unfortunately, the bathrooms aren't big enough for the number of people they serve—only two (one for men and one for women)—and they're not very comfortable. I didn't see the rooms because we only ate there. Reservations are recommended, as you might not get a table. I highly recommend it. There's plenty of parking and a relaxed atmosphere.

28/10/2025: I've been there a couple of times for lunch, the set menu, and the food was good and the price was reasonable. The place is very quaint, and may not be to everyone's taste. Still, it left a good impression.

17/10/2025: After a year, I'm revising my review. I'm not complaining about the quality, the service, or the atmosphere, but rather the reduction in portions. There were three of us, and remembering the abundance of dishes from last year (2024), we ordered one appetizer and two large fried fish platters. We received a smaller appetizer and two half-portions of fried fish compared to those we received a year ago. Including one bottle of still water and one bottle of Lugana wine (€25) and two complimentary liqueurs, we paid a total of €108 (€36 each).

27/06/2025: Dinner with excellent fish on the terrace with a view. Everything was delicious, and the staff was really kind and helpful, even with our dog.

09/11/2025: We had dinner last night. It's a typical mountain place and the food is superb. The service is friendly and the service is just right. We'll be back.

28/10/2025: We went for lunch and had a great time! Excellent service, incredible food quality. Truly delicious! The prices aren't the cheapest, but they're more than fair. The mixed platter lets you sample delicious cured meats and cheeses, and it was so generous that I was already full from the appetizer!

19/02/2026: The food was very good, but most food in Italy is. We enjoyed and recommend this place because of the people. Carmela and staff were unbelievably friendly and she was right on the money with her suggestions. There were 6 of us in our group and we all enjoyed our meals.

22/07/2025: It was not a nice experience! The food was not only like “pre-prepared” like the one that you buy frozen at the supermarket, the pasta was a completely deception it was the basic and the most cheapest one that you can obtain in a regular store for less that 1€ the plate was served with a basic pesto no even a good one, no even some cheese or tomatoes were added with the plate, the daily menu that is the okay one that costed 12€ and it doesn’t include any drink no even water, the second plate for me was a Caprese that was okay but not good presentation at all, furthermore inside the people were not that attentive or caring of their appearance not the place with hair from the pets in all the chairs. The second plate for my partner was even worse he couldn’t finished that one, the beens were the worst experience it was made like with a kilo of pepper or comino it was disgusting. It is sad bc this is a local place and we used to visit just the local ones to support and to know better the culture, to resume not fresh food and it is dangerous too bc with chicken and more the care must be higher. All my best to this place, and I hope this doesn’t turn into critics or offense, my intention is to inform and the observations need to be make maybe it is a chance to get better, to realize and to learn, I believe that we can always improve.
