22/03/2026: A meat cube roll costs €40: an exorbitant price for one person. Eating fish costs less. A not insignificant detail: the meat had been grilled too much, resulting in a bitter taste from the burnt edges. Given the price, it should have been perfectly rare, but it wasn't! Pay more attention when cooking and clean the grill.

08/02/2026: We met Mr. Faccioli by chance, and we chatted with him in the hotel's large courtyard. He's a truly friendly and pleasant person. Shortly afterward, we entered the restaurant from the courtyard. We waited, but no one was there, absolutely no one at all, and after a while, a staff member finally emerged from the kitchen. The restaurant is downstairs, "Cantina" by name and by nature, but Mr. Francesco, the maître d', who we later learned was "the Faccioli brother," made us feel very welcome, as I had some doubts about the location. It seems the rather large restaurant was built later by excavating beneath the hotel, where a partially unknown cellar was discovered. Between one conversation and another, we were treated to a plate of pumpkin tortelli and a delicious, almost overly generous tagliatella with porcini mushrooms. This was followed by two beautiful sea bass, perfectly grilled, and a delicious vegetable mix. Everything was excellent and well-prepared. A decaf coffee and a taste of Carnival dessert, kindly offered and very welcome, rounded off a rather generous Saturday lunch. I have to say about this experience: we were welcomed warmly, we ate well, we were pampered, and we paid a very fair €73.20. I recommend it 100% with flying colors. Best regards, Paolo & Ombretta

22/02/2026: I had lunch today with my wife. We had the Fraterna appetizer, which was good prosciutto crudo, but salami was too fatty and cheese was very fresh. Next up was gnocchi topped with artichoke hearts and too much cream (someone explain what that was for), and the duck bigoli was mediocre. One major flaw: at the end of the appetizers, I asked to remove the grilled meat from my order, but was told it was almost ready... In fact, after the first courses, it arrived almost cold (so I didn't eat it). Frankly, I was disappointed and a little disappointed.

We had lunch here during our day trip to Verona: a rustic little place, with limited seating on a hilltop away from the city center. We chose: Bigoli with sardines: superb! Tagliatelle with wild boar ragù: superb! Polenta and creamed cod: superb! Polenta and pastissada: superb! 1 bottle of water 1/2 house wine Coca-Cola €61 for two, price: truly fair! 11/04/2026: Pure culinary bliss. We weren't expecting that. The first bite left me speechless. Then Sublime arrived first. In short... go there... the staff is welcoming and the owner is super friendly and even took the time to tell us about life in Venice. We enjoyed the conversation.

06/04/2026: We stopped by Corte 1642 while exploring Cannaregio and really liked the laid-back, local feel of the place. It’s tucked away from the busy tourist streets, which made it a nice break from the crowds. We tried a mix of starters and drinks which were simple, fresh, and exactly what we felt like for for a casual Venetian stop. I would recommend it more for the vibe and quick bites than a full sit-down meal. Seating is limited and more street-style with old antique stuff rather than scenic views, but that actually adds to the authentic charm. Would definitely stop by again for a relaxed drink. While we waited for them to one at 17:30 we met a Korean couple who were visiting them a 2nd time as as many days.

06/04/2026: Great place to eat right next to our hotel with a wonderful water view. Waiters speak Italian, Mandarin and Spanish and were extremely helpful. So far one of the best pizzas we’ve had from our trip. Thank you for the amazing experience!

27/03/2026: A truly pleasant place, with a refined yet very understated atmosphere, combining a touch of modernity with classic decor. Pleasant background music, truly appreciated, soft lighting, and a quiet place. How can we describe the food we had...! The Jerusalem artichoke entrée was truly delicious, with a truly pleasing contrast of textures. My companion and I split an appetizer of Angus beef tartare (SUPERLATIVE, I'd say it was the best dish of the dinner), then he had the pork cheek (the meat was cooked perfectly, it practically melted in the mouth), and I had the spaghetti alla chitarra (also very good). We finished with a dessert (licorice cream and chocolate mousse), both with very original flavors and well-crafted. We finished with complimentary cookies, which were very tasty and had a pleasant texture. We're not wine connoisseurs; we each had a glass, but I'd say both were good wines. The total bill was commensurate with the quality of the food we consumed. Special mention also goes to the staff, made up of young but extremely professional and friendly people, which made us feel pampered and at home.
