The pasta is excellent, the cicchetti are perhaps the best in Venice, and the staff is very welcoming, energetic, and friendly. In short, don't hesitate, it's perfect!

Venice can be very disappointing when it comes to food. Our visit in La Corte saved my trip! This place is authentic, friendly and warm. Angela the Hostess is that kind of woman Italy can be proud of: she treats you like the most important guest in the world- willing to give good advices and even a kiss if you please… The food is simply delicious- all Venetian and Italian classics served with a twist. Be careful! portions are huge!!! Black angus carpaccio, sardines and pastas were top notch (especially gorgonzola/speck/truffle- unforgettable). Both classic desserts tiramisu and panna cotta - light, buttery, delicious. The character of this place is unpretentious and welcoming- definitely worth going. For us - a must in Venice.

The best carbonara I have ever tried in my life.

Excellent experience at La Corte 1642. The pasta with clams was delicious and the filet mignon was perfectly cooked. Exceptional service, very attentive and welcoming staff. I highly recommend it!

My wife and I always come here for dinner when we're in Venice. We've become regulars. The location is unique and welcoming. The spritz with bitter rabbit is excellent, the cicchetti are fabulous, as are the first courses. For the second course, I recommend the Brenta pork. Also ask about the meat of the day. Amazing service. And Amazing food. Its worth going to Venice just for this place. Like you can’t go to Venice and not go here. Both for lunsj but mostly dinner. The tiramisu is so good. Note kitchen closes at 10!! ;)

The food was absolutely delicious! The shrimp pasta was amazing, and the cicchetti was unique with its innovative fillings. I loved the food, and we finished it off with tiramisu.

A hidden culinary gem, as the restaurant is tucked away from the main streets. In my opinion, it is one of the best restaurants in Venice. The service is exceptionally friendly, and the wonderful vintage atmosphere makes the experience even more special. The food is excellent and full of flavor, combining traditional Italian cuisine with a modern twist and a distinctive style of its own. Highly recommended!

The owner is incredibly nice, and the food is absolutely fantastic. You should definitely try the handmade pasta.
