07/02/2025: Restaurant housed in a small castle overlooking Sovizzo, with a splendid view and a road that can even be traveled by large vehicles. The internal environment is well-kept, has the characteristic fireplace of the castle, ceilings with exposed beams. The dishes are prepared and of excellent quality, the meats are cooked excellently. They have a good wine list. I would say good value for money. Watch out for the car park: it fills up quickly, it isn't very spacious and maneuvering isn't very easy.

29/03/2025: Very nice place, the service is fast and courteous. It has a very large dedicated parking lot and several outdoor parking lots available a few steps away. The menu is composed of dishes mostly of the "pub" type, but not that pub type that, after consuming, needs a digestive. The ingredients are quality and the bread is light. Each sandwich is carefully assembled so as to be balanced to the bite and neat to the cut. The ingredients marry in a beautiful symphony even if you can distinctly perceive the flavors. Next time I would also try something from the kitchen perhaps.

12/04/2025: Historic location, with ample parking and a terrace with an amazing view. Excellent place for large events/ceremonies. Friendly staff and good dishes, especially the meat. Good choice of wines.

12/02/2025: We went to this place for the first time, but I can tell you that the context is nice but the rest is all for show. Very average starters, very good tortelli, the rest not including the service (cold like the area). Nice venue but other than the rooms the other rooms were not connected to the venue. It should be revived a bit.

29/03/2025: Sono tornato per la quinta o sesta volta alla Grotta in una serata infrasettimanale. La sala era piena e un motivo ci sarà. Anche questa volta non ha deluso le aspettative. Non ho preso primi questa volta ma antipasto e poi la braciola di vitello. Semplicemente eccezionale come la ricordavo ! Bravi bravi bravi . Ci tornerò sicuramente a breve

29/03/2025: Cena di lavoro con colleghi, posto bellissimo immerso nel verde ai piedi dei Colli Berici, piatti strepitosi di una qualità veramente eccellente a prezzi equi. Un'ora di strada che ha veramente meritato. Angus affumicato con scaglie di grana e rucola come antipasto, tagliatelle al tartufo dei Colli Berici e tris di filetti a dir poco eccezionali, croccantino di mascarpone e pistacchio favoloso ci tornerò senz'altro con mia moglie perché il gioco vale la candela e Vale l'ora di strada. Complimenti al personale di Sala, è veramente complimenti alla cucina, Sono rari i posti in cui ho mangiato così bene

21/03/2025: Lovely little restauraunt. Tried the lasagna and the carbonara. Must say that this was one of the best lasagnas I have ever had and the carbonara was perfect too! Great job, highly reccomend a visit to this place to every pasta lover!

Il menu propone troppe pizze, che ci vuole mezz'ora a leggerle tutte e farsi un'idea...less is more! Alla fine la pizza non ci ha sorpreso, fin troppo condita tanto da perdere l'equilibrio al palato...less is more! Dolci spaziali. Prezzi giusti per essere in centro San Donà, ad un passo dalla zona pedonale.

30/03/2025: Well what can I say Silvietta sorry the nickname is very nice she knows how to catch every joke like a beautiful mastery, they told us that in the kitchen there is usually a Mr. Fiorenzo but today there was Adelaide to make us dream with a meat cooking as excellent as it was sublime, surely the meat is the master but also whoever cooks must know his stuff and she knows his stuff, for a few moments we also had Benedetta who has a good attitude, I recommend it as an environment

I was with a friend and I was really very satisfied with both the food, but above all the service of the very friendly waitresses and always available for our every need. From the moment you enter you immediately understand that you are entering a warm place. I will definitely return. Highly recommended

17/04/2025: L'occasione una cena di lavoro, prima volta in questo locale. Dobbiamo dire che è stata una piacevole sorpresa! Posto tranquillo e in bella posizione sui colli Berici, ci ha permesso di trascorrere una serata in pieno relax. Servizio premuroso e efficiente, per quanto riguarda i piatti, dall'antipasto misto, ai primi, alla carne, fino ai dolci, tutto molto buono e porzioni generose. Il risotto al tartufo dei colli Berici una delizia per il palato! E alla fine anche il conto si è dimostrato giusto, anzi direi onesto! Bella scoperta, ci sarà certamente un seguito.

06/04/2025: Torniamo qui ogni volta che facciamo un giro nei colli Berici..Merita davvero fermarsi a gustare delle ottime pietanze, preparate con passione e ingredienti di gran qualità. Oggi antipasti e risotto al tartufo di cui aggiungiamo le foto. Il servizio è sempre cortese, il locale caldo, pulito, accogliente e molto frequentato. I prezzi nella media.
