Pastry shop in Calle degli Albanesi, a little hidden but very easily reachable. The "mamluks" are notable: a traditional but rare to find carnival dessert: related to the more classic "Venetian style" pancakes but with a magnificent explosion of orange in the mouth. Absolutely worth trying

Mandatory stop during Carnival to eat classic Venetian pancakes with raisins and pine nuts and those with zabaglione. One of the only two pastry shops in Venice that make Mamluks during Carnival... delicious!!! During the rest of the year I recommend the zabaglione flame, a delight!

Unfortunately, we discovered something very special here on the last day of our vacation. The donuts with pistachio cream are a real treat, especially at carnival time. Since then we have had to come by every time we visit Venice. :-)

19/09/2023: Good ice cream, slightly chaotic service. Very annoying to see how those who handle the money a moment later insert the wafers into the cups and serve the cones by touching them directly with their hands! It's not done!
