14/03/2026: I've been to this place for the first time, I can say loudly that the pizza is really excellent, I tasted a leavened one, the amatriciana was really good, as a dessert off the menu an excellent mimosa really special, excellent friendly and efficient service, top ingredients, really highly recommended, it is advisable to book, I will definitely be back, heartfelt compliments, for me it is a little out of the way but it is worth it

24/02/2026: Excellent food, excellent service, lovely atmosphere. A bit pricey considering the gourmet menu (though it's still a pizzeria). I had the carpaccio, and I had to pay for the bread.

02/04/2026: Beautiful places like Lake Garda understandably attract many tourists. The town of Torri del Benaco was relatively quiet that day compared to other towns on the lake, and at the La Barchessa restaurant we found a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the particularly captivating view of the lake in peace and quiet. The entire restaurant team was exceptionally friendly and always attentive. At just over €130 for three people, the food was excellent: the fish was fresh, not frozen, everything had the perfect texture, was perfectly seasoned, all the proportions were just right, and it was beautifully and lovingly presented. Everything was perfect. All of this would have been enough for five stars. In addition, the waitstaff not only placed a candle on our daughter's dessert cake, but also sang "Happy Birthday" as a choir. So kind, so lovely. We highly recommend La Barchessa.

13/01/2026: An absolutely fantastic experience! Antica Osteria Il Borgo impresses with authentic Italian cuisine that's rarely found elsewhere. Many of the dishes are meat-heavy and are prepared right in front of the guests on a charcoal grill – a real highlight that not only smells amazing but tastes just as good. The extensive and high-quality wine selection is also a real plus, perfectly complementing every dish. The ambiance is cozy, the service friendly and attentive – you simply feel at ease here. All in all, a super cool restaurant that I will definitely return to. Highly recommended! 🍷🔥🇮🇹

21/03/2026: Taverna San Lio has been close to my heart since my first return to Venice over a decade ago. The warm hospitality remains, carried forward by staff who embody the house ethos. Highlights included a crisp fritto misto (scampi, calamari, cuttlefish) with polenta and wasabi mayo, a refined truffle-porcini-egg dish on potato purée, and a classic seafood risotto cooked all’onda. Duck breast with Treviso radicchio and carrot purée was bold and balanced. Desserts were comforting: tiramisù in glass, chocolate fondant with silken anglaise, and dense chocolate mousse with apricot tuiles. San Lio balances Venetian tradition with thoughtful modern touches - the offerings are to a good standard, and the experience is consistently heartfelt.

02/11/2025: A top-notch hotel! A family-run business with so much love and heart. Dinner was absolutely fantastic, with a choice of three appetizers and three main courses – we tried them all, and they were all so delicious!! The rooms were spacious, the beds very comfortable – even I, with my back problems, slept soundly through the night. The bathroom had a shower and bidet. And then there was breakfast – amazing! Warm and fresh croissants, fresh and hot scrambled eggs served individually, juice, unlimited coffee, ham, cheese – and to top it all off, a glass of Prosecco. And you know what? One night for two people, including this fantastic breakfast, for only €70.00! We'd love to come back and stay for several nights. By the way, just 150 meters away there's a fantastic pizzeria that uses only buffalo mozzarella – so incredibly delicious....

10/12/2025: This café exudes a hipster and artistic vibe. You'll feel creative even before you take your first sip of coffee. There are beautiful details everywhere, lots of plants and books, and it's clear that a lot of care has gone into it. The stracciatella gelato is absolutely the best. The coffee is delicious and strong, just like my girlfriend's reasoning for spending our holiday in Italy. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and I felt completely pampered. I highly recommend this café, as it's the best coffee I've had on this holiday.
