Taverna San Lio In Venezia

We four girls had dinner there and I can only say that this restaurant is great. From arriving at the door to saying goodbye, the service was above average and perfect. The menu is the perfect size and oozes authenticity. After several bad experiences in Venice, this evening was the highlight of our entire trip. I would like to praise all the staff there. P.s You are absolutely right not to offer pizza there, it doesn't need it at all. Best wishes from Germany.

It was very good and we went back! Very relevant advice on wines, careful and pleasant service. Very good cuisine, fresh and quality products. The delicious veal cheek, the excellent octopus and the assortment of appetizers, the smoked salmon with a hint of citrus was very fresh and delicious. The chef was congratulated and he came to meet us. A great team serving good cuisine!

Each dish is a delicacy and in addition the staff is highly qualified and it is an excellent location. Highly recommended!

My friends and I dined at this restaurant for the first time a few days ago and by all accounts it was one of the best we tried in Venice. The dishes are those of the local tradition, but revisited in a modern key, despite this, the portions are still generous. The staff is friendly, the service much more attentive than in any other tavern. Let's say that the atmosphere is more that of a "serious" restaurant, but very very welcoming. It will certainly become one of our favorite restaurants. Get ready for our return :)

We ate very well ! The setting is warm and intimate, we were welcomed by a pleasant waiter and served by another speaking French! The food was very good (fresh spider crab pasta, scallops and special mention for the excellent tiramisu!!) and well presented. It was a very good time. (Addition to +/- 70€ for two with drinks and water)

Tout au sein de ce restaurant a été parfait ! Un service particulièrement attentionné et sympathique. Le serveur nous a même fait un cours sur les Spritz et les différents alcools que l’on peut mettre dedans. Les plats étaient vraiment délicieux ! Surtout les tagliatelles à la bolognaise et la tagliata de bœuf . Le rapport qualité-prix est correct. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir !

Restaurant choisi au hasard. Cuisine correcte à la norme des bons restaurant Vénitiens de cette catégorie. J'ai apprécié que la carte propose des verres au vin. Par contre j'ai trouvé l'accueil et le service très moyens. J'ai senti une hésitation pour me donner une table, étant seul, alors que le restaurant n'était pas plein et ne l'a pas été. Service virevoltant à l'Italienne mais au final un peu désordonné, j'ai dû patienter pour passer commande, mon entrée et mon plat de résistance sont tout de même arrivés assez vite, puis... plus rien, on ne m'a pas proposé la carte des desserts. Partant du principe que ce n'est pas au client de la réclamer, j'ai patienté 10/15 mn et lassé, demandé mon addition et suis parti. Les pris sont aux standard du quartier. Je ne recommande pas, compte tenu de la possibilité de trouver de meilleurs établissements à proximité.
