PS Ristorante, nestled in the quiet of Cerreto Guidi, is one of them: a place where every dish tells a story, and every detail is attended to with rare delicacy. Among the dishes that made an impression on me, "Quella che manca"—roast beef with lamb gelato, cherries, and a brown stock—is pure elegance on the plate: flavors that intertwine and balance gracefully. "Se vuoi far come ti pare...", with buckwheat crepes, Livorno prawns, chocolate, matcha tea, and borage pesto, is a gesture of courage and poetry, capable of surprising and captivating. And then there's the famous "Bianco e Nero," so good it deserves a second helping—a dish that captures the very essence of this cuisine: balance, technique, and sensitivity. The experience is accompanied by carefully curated amuse-bouche and a small pastry that closes the experience like a caress. The warm and refined atmosphere welcomes you with discretion. The service is impeccable: present, but never intrusive. You don't just come here to eat: you come to live an experience, to slow down, to listen to time and flavors. 22/07/2025: An experience that would have deserved an extra star if the price hadn't been so high. The location is enchanting, inside a villa that's often the venue for events or weddings. The restaurant is an ultra-luxury establishment, even boasting a green Michelin star (for sustainability). The dishes are refined, and the menu is undoubtedly high-quality. The dish that made the chef famous, chicken livers with dark chocolate puff pastry, is one to remember. The only downside is the price, as it was more expensive than other restaurants with actual Michelin stars. In short, a highly respectable restaurant, with a menu that may not be cutting-edge but is truly top-notch, and for a few dozen euros less, it would have deserved five stars.

14/09/2025: I've been a customer for years, but recently the quality of the products has changed significantly. Today I got a tray of takeout pastries, and they were terrible. The chocolate cream puffs had a filling that I thought was expired; it tasted sour, so sour I had to throw it away. The cream puffs with whipped cream, on the other hand, had a hard pastry, obviously having been there for a few days. I'm sorry, because you're close to my house, which is very convenient. I was even willing to buy despite your price increases, but after this episode, I won't buy again for fear of eating expired products.

30/10/2025: Excellent pizza (said by someone who's been a pizza chef for 20 years) at reasonable prices, a pizzeria atmosphere, and friendly service. Recommended for value. I only had pizza, so I can't comment on anything else, but I recommend it.

26/10/2025: There were five of us for dinner and the service was terrible. The waiter was very rude and uninterested. There were even four tourists behind me who were about to leave, and he was all rude and asked for the order with a disgusted look on his face. We won't be back because it's not the first time the waiter has acted like this. I thought it was Gionata who was crooked the other times, but I see it's always like this. It's a shame because the place is large and centrally located.

25/09/2025: We have been in italy for 11 days, in 5 different cities and can say, whilst all bakeries have been lovely - this one has been the absolute best we've tried yet! Greeted by a really lovely, helpful (and patient while we decided) man and ordered tasty treats which were amazingly priced for how good they were - ready for our sunrise view at piazzale michelangelo. 30/05/2025: I wasn't crazy about the quality of the food compared to other sushi places. The place is small but it's quite well kept. The staff is friendly.

05/10/2025: Friendly staff, but the wait was too long. We ordered a fried pizza as an appetizer and waited over 40 minutes, and it wasn't dry. The pizzeria is small, seating about 40 (I made a reservation), but there's only one pizza chef who also makes takeout pizzas, which keep coming in, so all orders are given priority. After waiting for the first pizza, we waited another 20 minutes for the two pizzas that had already been ordered with the appetizer. I had requested a light-colored pizza, but it arrived a bit burnt (while the other was very light, just as I would have liked). The pizzeria door remains open to make it easier, and I think also as a sign of friendliness for those waiting for takeout, but they often smoke while waiting, and the smell of cigarettes permeates the pizzeria. Very interesting pizzas. Average quality of ingredients.

03/08/2025: The atmosphere is welcoming, but it's a shame the tables are too close together. The waiters are efficient and friendly. The menu seems more or less the same as it has been for years. The gluten-free option is excellent. It's a shame the fresh tuna wasn't available for the pizza of the day, the Taranto pizza. The prices, in my opinion, are a little high.
