La Ménagère In Firenze

A beautiful and pleasant venue, with cocktails that are generally well executed. However, for a Dry Martini priced at €18, I would have expected the use of a higher-quality olive and, above all, a proper cocktail pick.

I visited La Menagere with my family. The location is exceptional, and the reception staff were very kind. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the service, which was decidedly terrible and with virtually no customer service. Our order was taken by a Spanish gentleman who didn't even look at us: he was unfriendly and surly, and every request he made was clearly annoyed. On the other hand, the young man in the dining room, with a southern accent, was extremely kind and helpful: he went out of his way to make us feel comfortable, repeatedly asking if everything was okay and if he could do anything for us. He even accompanied us to the bathroom, while his colleague simply gave unclear directions. Overall, the service didn't live up to the offerings or the prices.

A place I adore. Super nice and helpful staff, congratulations indeed. The bathroom was absolutely stunning, it had to be said. The food was delicious, and I have to say I miss the "Tuna Shanghai" dish; it was incredibly good, and it should be brought back. Everything was unique and wonderful, congratulations.

Shop in Shop concept, excellent

The place looks lovely, it’s not the italien osteria style, and we really liked that. We made a reservation in advance. It’s modern, chic, but it was a bit cold inside probably because we sat on a long tabel close to a window. Becouse the tabel was long, we didn’t feel much the vibe of the place, if i would go back i would ask them for a different tabel. The food was yummy, we loved that they didn’t have only the italien classic dishes. The service was a bit slow, but understandable as we went at lunch time and the place was busy

We had a nice breakfast, the pancake with Nutella and banana 🥞 was very good and light and the place was very welcoming it was a nice experience

We had dinner at La Menagere. Overall, it was disappointing, especially considering the very high prices. The food itself was very good and well-prepared. We always received fresh bread, which was also very good and homemade. The pasta dishes and my companion's salmon were excellent. My filet mignon, unfortunately, wasn't cooked medium and came without any side dishes. The most annoying thing was that the foie gras, even though I had explicitly asked for it to be omitted, was still on the steak. The service was generally inattentive, and things were often forgotten. This simply shouldn't happen at this price and level of service. The ambiance is otherwise very nice, but the room temperature was too cold. There are definitely much better restaurants in Florence at better prices.

A really lovely place, excellent breakfast, eggs Benedict, hot chocolate... Beautiful interior setting... A bit pricey for what you get, but an experience worth having.

The restaurant, near Piazza del Duomo, consists of a two-story restaurant (the first floor seemed to be connected only by a staircase) and a shop selling fresh flowers and small furnishings (I noticed mostly items resembling modern antiques, inspired by the 1950s and 1960s). The coexistence is subtle and elegant: it doesn't clash at all; the decor helps. The staff is quick, attentive, and kind. The dishes we ordered were of excellent quality and beautifully presented.
