I visited for dinner with my mum.
Sitting next to the window, the view was so nice I could see the veccio bridge so close. Food was delicious and fresh. Wine and dessert was really nice. Thanks to our server Alfredo, he was very attentive during the whole time and friendly. He said hi in my language, Korean which was very sweet! Highly recommend.

Thanks again to my dear friend Alfred for the excellent service; my wife and I felt truly pampered!

17/03/2026: My favorite place, welcoming, homey, and very familiar. The staff is extremely welcoming, professional, and kind. I went there for Women's Day, recommended by my friend who already knew and frequented the place. The food was truly excellent, with a varied menu featuring mostly local products and generous portions, leaving room for dessert (I also had the punch, which was excellent). I'm sure I'll be happy to try their dishes again.

17/03/2026: I didn't think there was such a high-quality gelato shop in the Prato-Calenzano area.
I had a tasting of 9 cups... a delight for the palate.
And a remarkable quality/price ratio.
And if Mr. Calogero explains his philosophy on artisanal gelato to you... you'll never want to leave.
Allow me just one marketing tip: with such a high-quality product, a less simple setting would be a good fit.

20/03/2026: Recommended to us by staff at a local winery, we first appreciated the approach, which is summed up in the menu's introduction (see photo). Everything was good, with the artichoke steamed in apple cider vinegar being exceptional (according to those who ate it). We appreciated the value for money. Recommended.

31/03/2026: Awesome gelato at an honest man’s store. We all enjoyed our gelato, including the pistachio, the biscotto, the peanut, and chocolate. The owner/worker accidentally overcharged me without me realizing the billing error. He then refunded the overcharge despite my lack of knowledge about the overcharge on my credit card. This type of honesty is rare and it impressed me greatly. On top of this business honesty, the gelato competes with the best I have ever had. Get the pistachio or the biscotto.

15/02/2026: Beautiful, everyone was friendly. Stefano, the owner, was very helpful and took us on a tour of the estate, including the olive trees and the dairy. We ate very well. Definitely worth a try for those who don't know it.

10/04/2026: I was disappointed! If all you do is burgers and hots dogs and fries, then you need to do it really well! For $18 USD for a burger and fries, this did not live up at all, unfortunately. The fries were ok, but not great. But the burger was so bland and had no flavor at all. Tasted like ground beef on a bun with no salt or anything. I was so sad as I was hoping to really like this place and to feel like a got a good burger fix. I hope this feedback is helpful.

Among the classic flavors, there are also some interesting innovative options that never disappoint, and the creams are rich and tasty.
I'll definitely be back to try new combinations 😋
P.S. If you're unfamiliar with a flavor, ask politely what it contains and then decide WITHOUT asking for samples!!! 🤦🏼♀️
29/03/2026: Excellent ice cream shop, but especially for its assortment of Sicilian pastries... cannoli and cassata, brioche (bbrosce in dialect) with ice cream, and other amazing delights for the palate and heaven for the soul.

Get milk, caramelized fig or the lavender one if you want something light, unique, and not too sweet.
Get walnut or coffee to get the thick creamy flavor.
