I didn't think there was such a high-quality gelato shop in the Prato-Calenzano area. I had a tasting of 9 cups... a delight for the palate. And a remarkable quality/price ratio. And if Mr. Calogero explains his philosophy on artisanal gelato to you... you'll never want to leave. Allow me just one marketing tip: with such a high-quality product, a less simple setting would be a good fit.

I had a cup (cones aren't available because they don't fully enhance the flavor, according to the owner) of exceptional gelato. A creaminess rarely found. A temperature that doesn't upset the palate or stomach. I tried the cream and salted pistachio: superb. They have other unconventional flavors that are worth trying. The staff is kind and friendly, but above all, they use fresh, local ingredients. You can taste the difference.

If the best gelato could exist, this will definitely be the place to pick it up. Forget any of the great gelato you have tried before, because you haven't tried any good gelato, yet. Here is the place you will do that: all of the ingredients are fresh, seasonal and prepared by the owners of the place. The taste is incredibly delicate, strong, and exactly of the thing you're supposed to be eating. Best in Tuscany if not on whole of Italy. 10/10 recommended!
