03/05/2026: Excellent crust, arugula salad was excellent, we enjoyed the street setting and heated area. Very reasonable cost and we had 2 glasses of wine each. Stefan was friendly and provided great service.

28/03/2026: We arrived after 6 pm (opening time) and they were still holding the broom.... Out of respect, we decided to take a look around, but when we returned at 6:45 pm, the situation was unchanged. We asked and they sat us down. We had two Virgin mojitos, the lime 🍋‍🟩 had been replaced with lemon juice, and then a uni but I disliked spritz and a Moscow mule, the latter of which was very poor. But the icing on the cake were the disposable plastic plates with chips and pretzels, you can see them in the photo, just like at a village fair.

14/04/2026: We went for pizza with friends and it was a wonderful evening, with live music and lots of lovely people. The pizza was delicious and served without too much of a wait. On other occasions, we've had seafood dinners, and on that occasion, too, everything was delicious and beautifully served. It's always a pleasure when we organize events with friends in this beautiful location right on the seafront.

30/04/2026: There’s no denying the food here is very good—everything we ordered, especially the octopus and pasta, was rich in flavor and clearly made with care. That said, the timing really let the experience down. We ended up waiting over two hours for our meal, which was completely unexpected. It also didn’t seem to be just our table—pretty much everyone around us was waiting as well, despite the restaurant not even being full. What made it more frustrating was that no one on the staff gave any heads-up about the delay. If we had known the kitchen was that backed up, we would have planned differently. The team is friendly and attentive in general, but not communicating such long wait times puts guests in an awkward position. Great food can carry a place far, but without transparency on service timing, it’s hard to fully enjoy it.

12/03/2026: Excellent stracciatella-anchovy tostadas and vermouth frizz. The non-alcoholic cherry cocktail wasn't very interesting and was too sweet. Pleasant and quick service.

The organization was simply perfect: every detail was taken care of with care and professionalism, allowing us to enjoy the day in complete serenity. 24/04/2026: Cute hidden bakery. Friendly, seats outside and great price. Had a sandwich of cheese, tomato, oregano - bread was delicious as was it all, all so tasty & fresh. Had a beer too. Perfect for a snack or lunch RETURNED April 2026 DELICIOUS! The bread here is so incredibly good. Absolutely a must in Monreale

08/04/2026: After a long time, I stopped by this magical place again on Sunday, where I was once again enchanted by their special IRIS, just like when I was a child. Delicious, fresh, crunchy, and infinitely delicate, highly recommended and never disappointing, always warm and bursting with ricotta, with that contrasting flavor of chocolate chips. In short, a delight to eat right near the Monreale Cathedral. For me, this is the best, indeed, the true ORIGINAL IRISI.

01/04/2026: Very kind, friendly, clean. Delicious food with adequate portions. Quick service and the option to order something off the menu. Highly recommend. The only thing I gave the "ambience" rating 4 stars was the plaster on one section of the wall that absolutely needs to be redone. Otherwise, everything was fine!

28/03/2026: Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The bottled water we received appeared to contain impurities/bacteria, which we only noticed after being served and already drinking from it — something that is completely unacceptable. As for the food, the quality was very poor. The seafood pasta (with shrimp and clams) made me feel sick almost immediately after eating it. It tasted unpleasant and far from fresh. The pizza was burnt, and the grilled sea bream was served without any side dish at all, which was unexpected and underwhelming. Overall, the experience was disappointing both in terms of food quality and hygiene standards. I would not recommend this place.

23/11/2025: We went there with friends by pure chance, the owner was very welcoming, he explained to us in detail the type of cuisine they offered, all delicious and of excellent quality from the first to the second courses, not to be missed...SPECTACULAR...I recommend it.
