06/05/2026: Nice restaurant, pleasant service, good wine and coffee; however, my pasta dish was tasteless and the portion was tiny. The price of 25 euros for the dish was high considering the quality and quantity offered.

The organization was simply perfect: every detail was taken care of with care and professionalism, allowing us to enjoy the day in complete serenity. 02/05/2026: Honestly, I can't explain all these positive reviews. It's total chaos, and they absolutely don't know how to manage it. We waited outside for a table, but they basically sat down with the first person to arrive, without anyone checking for priority. At one point, they tried to squeeze us into a table in front of the door: the place is tiny, and, as often happens here in Ortigia, they put tables everywhere without any sense of purpose to increase the number of people. It seems like a classic family-run place, in the worst sense of the word: lots of improvisation and zero organization. We stood in front of the cash register for several minutes, dodged by employees and customers in the general hustle and bustle, with no one paying attention to us. Perhaps the staff is too small for all those people, but the fact remains that we left without trying anything. A truly awful experience.

31/10/2025: Great wine, chilled red (rossato), a the female staff was really warm and welcoming and helped me with my wine choice so I came back the next day - some staff are more tolerant of English speakers than others.

19/10/2025: My husband and I stumbled upon this bar by chance, and it ended up being our favorite spot of the whole trip! The vibe was incredible — there was an after-work crowd across the street, every table was full, cars could barely get through — it was chaotic in the best way. We each had a Negroni and then a lager, both great. The atmosphere was so lively and local, and there were even families with kids, so it felt really welcoming. Highly recommend for the amazing ambiance and energy — you won’t regret it!

06/06/2026: What can I say? It's hard to find a flaw. I was invited to a fiftieth wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful evening. The location was well-maintained, with a beautiful internal lawn. The aperitif and dinner were first-class. The chef really knows his job, and the staff was discreet and very attentive. It was a pleasant surprise.

10/11/2025: We had a wonderful time on a warm November Sunday, sitting on the veranda... we were immediately greeted with a truly refined appetizer and entrée, both balanced and delicious. We enjoyed an excellent prosecco recommended by the very attentive and friendly staff, and then continued with superior pasta and main courses. Definitely an experience we'll happily repeat!
