21/04/2026: We’ve been to this restaurant four times in a row for dinner, and it’s been the best decision. The ingredients are always fresh, there’s a different daily special every day, and the waiter who served us could answer all our questions and even recommend places to visit as a tourist. If we ever go back to Sicily I’m sure we’re gonna visit this place again.

Affordable prices: excellent value, typical of Palermo street food. Ideal for lunch breaks or quick meals, with the option of eating outside where there are several tables. Also open for dinner, closed on Sundays. Friendly and helpful staff, the guy at the counter is friendly and pleasant, always smiling with everyone; I think his name is Alessio.

08/04/2026: After a long time, I stopped by this magical place again on Sunday, where I was once again enchanted by their special IRIS, just like when I was a child. Delicious, fresh, crunchy, and infinitely delicate, highly recommended and never disappointing, always warm and bursting with ricotta, with that contrasting flavor of chocolate chips. In short, a delight to eat right near the Monreale Cathedral. For me, this is the best, indeed, the true ORIGINAL IRISI.

10/03/2026: We had a pleasure to be guests of this beautiful restaurant on our quick break...All we can say...food was a masterpiece...excellent food quality...best pizza ever! We've been served by very cool waiter Giuseppe...he was very professional but most importantly He made our visit very relaxed, looked after us all the time and we enjoyed every moment of the evening there. Thank you very much for everything!

10/03/2026: Our overall experience was 3/5. The pizza itself was 5/5 and very tasty. The service left something to be desired. We ordered dessert twice. When we only received one dessert (with two spoons), we were told that they were out of apple crumble (at 8:30 pm). No alternative was offered. A bit odd. Furthermore, there was a very strong smell that evening – we couldn't tell if it was truffles or sweat. Still, strange.

14/05/2026: I hadn't been to Pizzicotto for dinner in a while and was surprised by how delicious and friendly everyone is. The gluten-free appetizer was well-made, the crispy fries were much appreciated. The staff were very courteous and especially attentive to gluten, with special cutlery brought to our table and a flag indicating the pizza for the intolerant diner... impeccable. I was pleasantly surprised by the quantity of pizzas and the combinations of ingredients, and I also noticed generous portions of pasta and mussel appetizers at other tables. The food, staff, and location were excellent. Highly recommended, we'll be back.

13/05/2026: I ate pizza at this restaurant, and aside from the excellent quality of the food, I have to offer my sincerest compliments to the staff, especially the bartender. My husband and I tried their spritz, and it was definitely the best in Palermo. Congratulations!

08/06/2026: Dare I say this is one of the best pizzerias in Nicolosi? No! I've tried them all and can confidently say the quality and service are unmatched. We had dinner for six, and were greeted with an excellent welcome appetizer. The timing of our selection and ordering was impeccable. Special thanks to the wait staff. As the maître d', I appreciated that the napkin change was handled with the necessary care, a practice usually reserved only for luxury hotels. The wait staff (who proved discreet and professional) even brought my wife a new napkin with clips... This isn't a common behavior in a pizzeria, so this tells me the staff was carefully selected. Let's get to the pizza! All the pizzas arrived at the same time, cooked to perfection and with excellent toppings. My guests were delighted, and the evening was a success. Thanks to this place, which unfortunately is a bit of an outsider in the province of Catania. I hope to return soon, if possible.

Very good pizza, the Norwegian one: accompanied and garnished with smoked salmon, walnuts, arugula, buffalo mozzarella, and finally that lemon-flavored oil 🍋, which gave it that special touch. Thanks to the staff, whose kind and almost pampering manners. Yes, we had a great time 👍

29/11/2025: A small place in Monreale where you can get excellent sandwiches. The charcuterie board for two is also excellent—tasty and plentiful.
