07/03/2026: I can't comment...the website says it opens at 6:30 a.m. At 6:55, the shutters were still halfway up, with about ten customers waiting outside, and us, who'd missed the 6:40 ferry to have breakfast there. We left a little annoyed, and because we didn't want to miss the next ferry.

When a place does so well, you can see the passion behind every detail. In the Kitchen: Chef Gianfranco Parisi is a force of nature. His dishes are an experience for the eyes and the palate, combining technique, flavor, and a unique charm. At the Bar: Francesco Gaiano is a master behind the bar, with exceptional drinks and great professionalism. At the Bakery: Massimo in the pizzeria churns out spectacular pizzas, with perfect dough and cooking. In the Dining Room: Giovanni Fiorelli and the entire team welcome you with such attention, kindness, and energy that make you feel immediately at home. A beautiful atmosphere and an extraordinary staff that all pulls in the same direction. When you come here, you experience the region at its best. Highly recommended, I will definitely be back.

The ingredients are always fresh, there’s a different daily special every day, and the waiter who served us could answer all our questions and even recommend places to visit as a tourist. If we ever go back to Sicily I’m sure we’re gonna visit this place again.

21/07/2026: We, a family with two children, cannot understand the hype and the many positive reviews of this restaurant. We ordered several thin flatbreads, two with Nutella for the children and others with mozzarella and tomatoes, a small appetizer platter with some grilled vegetables, mozzarella, and tomatoes, and four soft drinks. For this, we paid around €70. Compared to our recent experiences in the area, it was a complete flop. By Sicilian standards, neither the quality, taste, nor portion size justified the price. The value for money is simply poor. The staff were friendly and spoke English. However, this doesn't change the fact that the food, portions, and price were completely disproportionate. We left disappointed and cannot understand the positive reviews.

01/11/2025: We visited this gelateria on a warm September day. The gelato and ethane granita were superb, and the hospitality was impeccable. The coffee was also excellent. Recommended.

Excellent cuisine, in terms of flavors, use of seasonings, quantity, and presentation...the atmosphere is perfect, with subdued, relaxing lighting and music...perfect table service with professional and friendly waiters...what can I say? If you're passing through Syracuse, you can't miss the meat shop...the prices are excellent too. If you're an oyster lover, you'll really appreciate their selection...I assure you, it's worth a visit, even two, three, four...

20/07/2026: From my experience, one of the best restaurants in Ortigia. The ingridients were always fresh and overall very tasty. I really recommend this place to anyone looking for great food as well as extraordinary service. During our stay, we got quite close to one of the waitresses, Daniella.
