10/03/2026: We had a pleasure to be guests of this beautiful restaurant on our quick break...All we can say...food was a masterpiece...excellent food quality...best pizza ever! We've been served by very cool waiter Giuseppe...he was very professional but most importantly He made our visit very relaxed, looked after us all the time and we enjoyed every moment of the evening there. 10/03/2026: Our overall experience was 3/5. The pizza itself was 5/5 and very tasty. The service left something to be desired. We ordered dessert twice. When we only received one dessert (with two spoons), we were told that they were out of apple crumble (at 8:30 pm). No alternative was offered. A bit odd. Furthermore, there was a very strong smell that evening – we couldn't tell if it was truffles or sweat. Still, strange.

14/04/2026: The fried iris alone is worth the trip!!! I tried the one with ricotta and pistachio, and it's simply fabulous. Given its size, you could have lunch with it!

29/03/2026: Excellent experience: Welcome, with a welcome glass of prosecco and a savory wafer. Fast, attentive, professional, and very kind service. Truly good food. My wife ordered the Bronte pizza, about €14; it has a very light, flaky dough and excellent toppings, in addition to the generous portion. I ordered the fish appetizer for myself; for €22, you can satisfy your hunger, delighting in a delicious pepper caponata, a trio of marinated fish, a selection of fried small fish (very fresh), octopus salad, peppered mussels, and two anchovies (I would have preferred some marinated anchovies). Good crusty bread; as soon as the first basket was finished, the waiter immediately brought a second without me having time to ask. A 750 ml bottle of still water and a 33 cl Strait beer. Finally, a warm chocolate heart for my wife and a mandarin sorbet for me. All this for €57, including €2.80 per person for the cover charge. (A little high, but still satisfying.) An experience to repeat!

The only slight disappointment, not attributable to the impeccable management, concerns the careless behavior of some customers with their children.

The view is breathtaking, especially at sunset, when the sea offers incredible colors that make every moment even more special. The place is welcoming and well-kept, perfect for both a relaxing breakfast and a sunset aperitif. The coffee is excellent, always made to perfection, and there's a wide variety of fresh products: from fragrant croissants to appetizers to accompany your drink. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always smiling, which really makes the difference and makes you feel immediately at ease. The service is fast and attentive, even at peak times. An ideal place to unwind, enjoy the sea, and experience a typically Sicilian atmosphere. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back!

02/05/2026: Honestly, I can't explain all these positive reviews. It's total chaos, and they absolutely don't know how to manage it. We waited outside for a table, but they basically sat down with the first person to arrive, without anyone checking for priority. At one point, they tried to squeeze us into a table in front of the door: the place is tiny, and, as often happens here in Ortigia, they put tables everywhere without any sense of purpose to increase the number of people. It seems like a classic family-run place, in the worst sense of the word: lots of improvisation and zero organization. We stood in front of the cash register for several minutes, dodged by employees and customers in the general hustle and bustle, with no one paying attention to us. Perhaps the staff is too small for all those people, but the fact remains that we left without trying anything. A truly awful experience.

31/10/2025: Great wine, chilled red (rossato), a the female staff was really warm and welcoming and helped me with my wine choice so I came back the next day - some staff are more tolerant of English speakers than others.

19/10/2025: My husband and I stumbled upon this bar by chance, and it ended up being our favorite spot of the whole trip! The vibe was incredible — there was an after-work crowd across the street, every table was full, cars could barely get through — it was chaotic in the best way. We each had a Negroni and then a lager, both great. The atmosphere was so lively and local, and there were even families with kids, so it felt really welcoming. Highly recommend for the amazing ambiance and energy — you won’t regret it!
