Great find just off the main street in Agrigento. Service and food were amazing!

There’s no denying the food here is very good—everything we ordered, especially the octopus and pasta, was rich in flavor and clearly made with care. That said, the timing really let the experience down. We ended up waiting over two hours for our meal, which was completely unexpected. It also didn’t seem to be just our table—pretty much everyone around us was waiting as well, despite the restaurant not even being full. What made it more frustrating was that no one on the staff gave any heads-up about the delay. If we had known the kitchen was that backed up, we would have planned differently. The team is friendly and attentive in general, but not communicating such long wait times puts guests in an awkward position. Great food can carry a place far, but without transparency on service timing, it’s hard to fully enjoy it.

The food here was truly excellent—full of flavor and clearly prepared with care. Every dish we tried was excellent and beautifully presented. We know and appreciate that the restaurant is directly managed by the owners, which often leads to a special attention to quality. However, the wait was quite long: more than 45 minutes for the main course, which can impact the overall experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the wait times were hard to ignore. That said, the food was excellent, and I would probably return, hoping for slightly faster service.

We were in Sicily, yet we were warmly welcomed. We paired our meal with a delicious white Fina wine. The restaurant was full of Sicilians. A lower score, due to the following -coincidental- matters: It was chilly in the room, which immediately makes it less cozy; there was also a very disturbing noise at the entrance. The ravioli was far too salty; I made the wrong choice there.

Excellent, fresh, local dishes! Everything is homemade with local ingredients. Excellent quality products. Each course offers several options, but a small menu contributes to the excellence of the food and ingredients. The service is attentive. The atmosphere is relaxing. It's casual yet elegant. It's located in a historic building in the heart of the old town. The interior features beautiful arches and is beautifully decorated.

We asked our local friends for advice and came here. A beautiful, family-run place, with this lovely background music, tranquility and peace, a relaxing atmosphere for those seeking a slightly intimate atmosphere. The owners are very kind and professional, and their son is in the kitchen, making truly delicious dishes (meaning quality of ingredients, quantity, and aesthetics). Little "Canavaccioli" are growing. Excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back, and you, who are reading this, trust me and book.
