17/03/2024: We have known Poggio della Guardia for several years, from the "old guise" and we have always been satisfied with the pizza, the cuisine and the grill. We decided to celebrate our daughter's Confirmation here last week, in this renovated, expanded and wonderful location and what can I say? We found Daniela available to propose and assist us in choosing a menu suited to our needs, even for guests with intolerances, and it was a succession of professionalism and friendliness: preparation of the room, welcome, food with quality raw materials, ability and attention of the waiters during service. We were fully satisfied and even more gratified by our relatives and friends who definitely appreciated both the place and the excellent dishes. Excellent service-quality/price ratio

12/03/2024: I had asked for tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms but received tagliatelle with porcini mushroom slime. Ok, I don't pretend they had fresh mushrooms, but even frozen ones, if you know how to work, can be presentable. The restaurant is old and poorly lit, not exactly a welcoming environment that makes you want to return.

18/12/2023: Siamo andati per festeggiare un compleanno abbiamo ordinato una paella di pesce per 6 persone, un gusto stupendo e abbondante annaffiato da un ottimo vino della casa per non parlare degli antipasti abbondanti e del dolce (tiramisù) a dir poco eccezionale

14/12/2023: Siamo stati per un pranzo in famiglia, tutti i camerieri vestiti in modo elegante.. molto gentili.. anche se alle prime armi... simpatici.. Mentre ....l'uomo che ci ha preso l'ordine.. era l'unico senza uniforme da cameriere... molto distratto e poco cordiale.. si è posto con atteggiamento infastidito per ogni domanda.. alla nostra richiesta di conoscere gli ingredienti di un piatto del menù.. ha risposto scocciato... che potevamo leggerli.. abbiamo letto.. ma poi all'arrivo del piatto abbiamo scoperto che sul menù non erano indicati tutti gli ingredienti.. risultato.. che il piatto non è stato gradito. (15 euro buttati) Il vino è arrivato alla fine degli antipasti.. ho dovuto richiedere più volte al solito cameriere .. "in tenuta sportiva" che arrivasse il vino..e alla fine mi ha anche risposto in modo arrogante che dovevo chiederlo prima... ho pagato un conto salato.. come i piatti che hanno servito... per essere anche "rimproverato" dal cameriere .... Bastava un po di gentilezza .... non ci torneremo mai più!
