11/12/2024: We only had lunch at the restaurant, clean, very friendly and helpful staff. The two of us had a carpaccio of bresaola, bruschetta with bacon, 2 glasses of wine, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and wild boar, tagliatelle with hazelnut, still water for a total of 55 euros.

05/01/2025: Difficilmente si può gustare una cucina così curata, leggera e prelibata. Pensata con intelligenza ed eseguita con grande cuore e grande passione.
In un locale dove il piacere comincia dall’eleganza semplice e misurata degli arredi e delle stoviglie, la proprietaria è chef ti accoglie con un menu stratosferico dagli antipasti ai dolci. Pochi ingredienti ma di altissima qualità ( perché le nostre papille, ti spiega) non riescono a percepire più di 5 sapori alla volta).
Così dal paté di fegato accompagnato da prugne sll’armagnac e pan brioche, alla tartare di barbabietole e pere con una spuma di formaggio misto di capra e pecora, ai crostini croccanti di parmigiano con burrata di bufala acciuga e scarola, al tortino di verdure avvolto nel guanciale di cinta senese. E le foglie di vite con pesto di pistacchi pomodorini e pecorino? e il cestino di sfoglia croccante con ripieno di pecorino carciofi e mentuccia?
Tra i dolci cuore pazzo ( soda scoprire!) parfait di arance e zenzero, tortino di cioccolato, crumble di nocciole con mele al rum e panna…
Siamo tornati 4 sere per 4 cene cene deliziose. E vi dispiace non averla conosciuta dalla prima sera e di aver mangiato in altri ristoranti con un’offerta molto più dozzinale o, perlomeno, molto meno straordinari anche se più consigliati. un posto in cui tornare e ritornare
23/12/2024: Proprietaria e cuoca che fa questo lavoro per e con amore. Si vede appena si entra nella piccola sala, dalla mise en place, ai quadri, alle luci.. Piatti molto buoni e particolari e ampia scelta di vini. Dessert insoliti e combinazioni che stupiscono. Sicuramente un posto dove vorrei tornare

02/12/2024: Restaurant found by chance while wandering through the alleys of the medieval district of Viterbo. They let us have lunch despite the late hour (3.30pm) and therefore close to closing. Very kind, smiling and discreet wait staff. The chef, who personally served some dishes to us, responded with availability and courtesy to our questions about raw materials and condiments. The pumpkin gnocchi with wild boar sauce are something divine and the fettuccine (gluten-free by the way!) with wild beef ragù and pecorino cream cannot be described, they were so tasty. The cut then...superb! The raw material is excellent, the cooking is excellent and the flavor is spot on. Finally, which is anything but obvious, we are grateful to all the staff for the kindness shown towards our 3 year old who was pampered with a delicious dessert made just for him. See you soon.
13/10/2024: Restaurant in the historic center of Viterbo, a medieval city to discover. The restaurant has created a menu with slightly revisited typical dishes of Viterbo cuisine. Overall not bad.

01/10/2024: I recently had the pleasure of dining in this restaurant surrounded by greenery and I was thrilled. The starter, like the one in the photo, was simply delicious. A selection rich in flavours, with extremely fresh and carefully prepared products. Every bite was an explosion of flavor, from the quality cured meats to the cheeses and seasoned vegetables. The presentation was equally flawless!
The setting is lovely, with outdoor tables surrounded by nature, which adds a pleasant feeling of tranquility. The prices are really excellent, especially considering the quality of the dishes and the relaxing atmosphere that the place offers. I can't wait to return!

10/02/2025: I ate there with my girlfriend last night, we had no reservation but they welcomed us anyway.
The food was so good I loved the dumplings and I'm digging the sweet sour sauce that came with them!! The chicken and duck too were very good and tender.
1000 out of 10 recommended :)

09/02/2025: Saturday 8 February for dinner for eight!!! For having consumed they present us the bill orally without a receipt!!! Big rip-off...in short, a platter made up of 8 slices of raw ham, 8 sticks of gruyere and small squares of primo sale, 8 slices of salami, 8 of bacon, so one for each at the modest sum of €80!!! Not to mention a liter of bulk wine for €14!!! I hope they examine their conscience!!! Never again in this place

31/12/2024: Like every year we buy Pompi's "Pandoramisù" for the holidays, this year for logistical reasons I was comfortable ordering it at the Ronciglione location. Not being able to book it from the website, I call a little prepared for a no (since on the site you have to pay for it immediately), and instead I find a very kind person (a man), very helpful, who already gives me some indications on how to best serve him (which has never happened in ANY store in Rome).
I come by in person to collect it on the agreed day, and in addition to finding a beautiful and clean bar, this time I am welcomed by a girl who is also very welcoming, well-prepared, very courteous but always professional: she also gives me further information on how to best preserve the Pandoramisù... If I think that in one of the POMPI in Rome last year they almost threw it at me (and the place was empty). Congratulations to the staff at the Pompi bar in Ronciglione, you have certainly acquired a new customer when I pass by 😊

12/01/2025: Abbiamo soggiornato al caminetto per 2 notti ed è stata una esperienza unica e molto piacevole .La struttura vista lago è comodissima , per visitare tutti i paesi del lago , Civita di Bagnoregio, Viterbo ecc .Camere molto belle pulite e spaziose , ottimo il ristorante e la colazione , parcheggio privato comodissimo .Questo soggiorno è rimasto nei nostri cuori grazie alla gentilezza e la professionalità di tutto lo staff , un grazie di cuore a Margherita che con la sua amorevole cura per la propria struttura lo rende unico e speciale .Ottimo qualità prezzo consiglio a tutti di soggiornare al caminetto
09/01/2025: Ho trovato questo ristorante per caso ammirando lo splendido panorama sul lago.
Il locale elegante in modo giusto era pochissimo affollato. Sono stato accolto con molta affabilità e accomodato ad un tavolo con bellissima prospettiva sul lago (nella bella stagione nella terrazza all'aperto l'atmosfera deve essere eccezionale) . Il servizio è stato cortese e rapido. Piatti di ottimo livello e vino bianco in calice eccezionale. Prezzi più che accettabili. Da ritornarci.

09/03/2025: The service (and also the price) is absolutely not 4 stars. Upon arrival the room was cold and the heating (slow) was turned on only when the room was delivered. No elevator and need to go outside to reach the restaurant.
