27/08/2024: Delicious pizzas. Served in any portion size you want, you can try many of them without having to order a whole pizza. Highly recommend the margherita, pepperoni, aubergine and courgette.

Sitting on casual high tables, in a simple and friendly manner, we quickly chatted with our neighbors. Crispy pizzas and fresh products. I highly recommend!

11/07/2024: Last week I ate ramen in this place, I take advantage of this review to let the girl know that if I left most of the pasta it's not because I didn't like it, but because I'm just back from a week in Japan in which I ate ONLY ramen, but the flavor of the ramen at this restaurant is truly authentic, truly Japanese. Obviously the prices are higher than in Japan, but if you have to eat ramen I recommend this place, which among many is probably the one that deserves the most.

29/06/2024: An experience not to be underestimated. Friendly staff, excellent food. For this small and charming place the rule of "don't judge a book by its cover" applies. We will be back soon.

Sul conto nulla da eccepire, qualità/prezzo eccellente. Amaro offerto dalla casa. Non mancherà occasione per tornare anche perché volevamo visitare il castello ma è chiuso per manutenzione. 01/09/2024: Yesterday I had dinner at this place by chance when looking for a restaurant in the area that was open late. We were pleasantly surprised. We were welcomed and attended to by the owner, who was very friendly and provided us with personalized and excellent service. He quickly adapted dishes to special requests, and we were given complimentary toast while we decided on dishes. We ate incredible and very abundant. I recommend the pasta with mushrooms and truffle, with a large amount of both ingredients. The fries and chicken are also amazing. My favorite was the pistachio tiramisu. Soft, creamy, and with a delicious flavor. Before leaving he took us behind us and showed us tunnels and underground caves inside Mount Testaccio only accessible from the rest. The price surprised us because of how little the bill was, less than 25 euros per person, including a glass of wine. I definitely recommend anyone who is in Rome to eat at Ar Monte Testaccio!

01/09/2024: We went for dinner two days, the place is beautiful, the food and the staff's attention were very good. Especially Toni and Kevin, who cared at every moment so that we had an incredible night. Also mention that the cocktails were spectacular. Without a doubt, we will return and repeat!

08/08/2024: It's a good place. A few imperfections here and there, but overall it definitely deserves the mentions it gets. I appreciate a certain balance that can be seen between refinement and rusticity, nothing seems left to chance. The prices are slightly higher than other restaurants in the neighborhood, but in Centocelle it is probably the others who have prices that are too low 😅

30/08/2024: Excellent ice cream, with dozens of different flavors. Friendly and welcoming staff. However, the place is too small.

26/08/2024: Excellent selection for fruit, less for creams which I found to be more classic flavors and less for gourmets. Good ice cream, with flavors very faithful to the taste they reflect. Prices ok, 3 flavors for 3 euros, just below average. I'll be back because I'm a fruit lover and it seems like what they do best in the area.

05/08/2024: The tiramisu was delicious, but we had to eat it at the metro station next door. There was no information about it on social media, but when we arrived it turned out that renovations were going on and we could order takeaway only, which, given the heat, meant the risk of the dessert melting before reaching the hotel. We were served by a nice and slightly lost girl.

27/07/2024: I have been to this place several times and have always had excellent breakfasts. I also ordered two cakes on two different occasions which were appreciated by everyone, vegans and non-vegans alike. And then, do we want to talk about how beautiful they are? 😍

23/08/2024: Yesterday we had ice cream, and they are wonderful. Creamy and artisanal. We had to wait in line but it's worth it.

20/08/2024: My mom and I traveled to multiple Italian cities on our trip and visited about 2-3 other gelaterias, but this one was #1. The flavors were of the highest quality and freshness, with perfectly sized portions. The smallest size was 3 euro for 2 flavors. I think my favorite had to be the mandarin. There were many unique flavors such as cacio e pepe and lemon cream with wild strawberries! We visited this spot at least 1x/day during our stay in Rome! It was even better knowing it was just a 5 min walk from our hotel.

28/08/2024: Kort gezegd: Ontzettend slecht eten, slechte service, slechte setting en een gedeeld openbaar toilet zonder slot, de Italiaanse passie voor eten is hier ver te zoeken. Gereserveerd maar bij binnenkomst gelijk achterin gedumpt, in een restaurant van 30 graden. Werd ook niet gevraagd naar reserveringsgegevens. Achterin was vrijwel leeg, was achteraf al een voorteken voor een restaurant pal tegenover het Colloseum. Onvriendelijk personeel kwam ons vragen naar drinken, kregen rode wijn van 27 graden voorgeschoteld, niet te drinken. Online stond er mogelijkheden voor glutenvrij eten alleen bij navraag bleek niks mogelijk. Heb maar een cheeseburger (zonder brood), medium besteld want glutenvrije pasta/pizza was geen mogelijkheid. Even later kwam de ober weer terug om te melden dat hierbij de patat ook niet kon want glutenvrij. Toen ik vroeg om een ander gerecht te krijgen, was dit ook niet meer mogelijk. De keuken was achter ons en het eten wordt gewoon op een warmhoud plaat gelegd totdat het wordt opgehaald. Mijn 'cheeseburger' kwam aan zonder kaas, verbrand en doorbakken als een schoenzool. Mijn vriend had een pizza die zo droog was als kurk. Het personeel kwam niet vragen of het goed was, omdat ik gok dat ze weten dat het toch negatief was.

10/07/2024: Un accoglienza unica, cucina ottima per non parlare del bere! Maurizio ci ha fatto assaggiare e scoprire tantissimi vini e superalcolici. Ci siamo sentiti a casa in un secondo! Andare a Livata e non passare qui è un ERRORE DA NON FARE!! Grazie a Irene e Maurizio per la splendida vacanza! Non vi libererete più di noi!!
