We came here for a glass of wine before dinner. The owner was super friendly and we loved the interior of the place! We sat outside which was lovely and the wine was great and such a reasonable price. We really appreciated the complimentary snacks too.

This is a must stop when in Rome. For the price of a glass of delicious wine, you get a wonderful spread of eats. I was here last year and couldn’t wait to get back here when I arrived to the city yesterday. The owner is very knowledgeable about the extensive wine he serves, personable and attentive.

Perhaps my favourite wine bar in Rome. Close to lots of the major areas and yet wasn't full of tourists. I was able to practice my Italian with the owner. Seating outside as the inside is dominated by lots and lots of bottles of wine!

We settled on drinks, which were quite good. We didn't eat anything except the appetizers. Standard fare for everyone who ordered. We noticed Italians stopping by for a glass of wine. A great place with interesting, original waiters. We'll be back.

Tocco Ferro

21/03/2026: Tocco Ferro is a wonderful restaurant we went to while visiting family in the Trionfale neighborhood of Rome. There were six of us at dinner and all of the food was exceptional. The seafood was amazing. The owners were very gracious and welcoming and made us feel quite at home. While the restaurant is a little off the beaten path with a bit of construction currently, it is definitely worth the effort to find this gem!
21/03/2026: Most wonderful restaurant dining experience. Chef Andra stopped by to tell us her specials for the evening, and we ordered most of those- and it was incredible! 3 minute walk from the Vatican museum. Sadly hidden due to some construction on the street. Absolutely best meal we had in a week in Italy. Best antipasti: zucchini flowers stuffed with shrimp. Best pasta special - with house made fettuccine. Best secondi - the special for the night. A tuna tataki. Best tiramisu, made to order. Always special to get to talk with the chef at a restaurant of this caliber, and just so nice to get to tell her how wonderful the meal was.
