02/03/2026: I love family-run taverns. They're small, welcoming, and have a homey feel, a sense of genuine conviviality and hospitality. Never far from the average tourist looking for sign-posted discounts: "Maxi tourist menu for only €20, drinks included," I'm inspired by the photographs of the dishes.
Roman tradition, quality, and seasonality, but as the chef carefully states on his menu: "A typical dish knows no season," so yes to traditional dishes, but also others, respecting what the land offers at that particular time of year.
The atmosphere is truly good, with quality, politeness, and customer service—for which I applaud the lady in the dining room, always attentive and friendly!
We receive artisanal bread made by the chef, with fantastic leavening and an intense aroma from the herbs it contains, followed by a delicate and delicious chickpea soup with porcini mushrooms.
Sublime Carbonara and Gricia, with a pecorino cheese that caresses your palate with a blend of sweetness and savory flavors that doesn't scratch your palate with its invasiveness, but delicately envelops it, widening your taste buds. Even the pepper, which is usually very aggressive, is gentle here, as if leading you hand in hand into this sublime gastronomic moment. The second course was a pork loin, lovingly accompanied by plums, which enriched it.
To finish on a sweet note: a fragrant crème brûlée in which the sweet notes of orange stand out, the scent of caramelized sugar sinking in with vanilla.
Along with the coffee, carefully selected thanks to a beautiful and full-bodied Jamaican blend, were cat's tongue biscuits.
To accompany everything, a "fojetta" of white wine from their cellar, which accompanied our lunch with drinkable, lively, and lively sips.

The staff is incredibly friendly and smiling. Everything is delicious, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of the products offered. A 10 out of 10.

24/07/2026: We've been wanting to try this ice cream shop for a while. It's a small place, and the selection of flavors isn't extensive. The quality of the ice cream is excellent, no complaints there. However, the portions are a bit small, in our opinion, especially considering the price of €3.80 for two flavors. We were a bit disappointed, even though, as I said, the ice cream is very good.

The tagliolini with clams were disjointed; they didn't taste like clams, but rather like overcooked, overly salty pasta. 19/07/2026: A very characteristic place, with a view of the vineyard and the sunset that illuminated the evening, very romantic and we ate outside with a fresh dessert that brightened the evening. Good food and washed down with an Otto wine from the castles. A great evening to celebrate my 71st birthday.

A perfect place to relax and enjoy a good meal. Signora Simona's kindness and the charcuterie platter complete the picture.

15/03/2026: The mid/ late aged cashier/attendant at the counter is one of the rudest waiter(lacks basic manners and ettiquetes with a loud, rowdy tone) I have ever come across who expects tourists to converse fluent Italian. The same lady stands outside the restaurant greeting pedestrians luring them to visit the restaurant during peak lunch hours. When asked for an invoice she couldn’t comprehend it, it’s quite strange to see this sort of a temperament from a business who major revenue is driven by tourists and non native speakers alike.. the food is mediocre, I would advice first timers to try the other cafe adjacent to this one..

10/02/2026: One of the best tea rooms I've ever tried; I'm absolutely in love with it, and I've been coming back for years.
The unique atmosphere almost feels like entering a world of its own. The atmosphere is welcoming and elegant, with just the right vintage touches, providing warmth even on the coldest days. The selection is extensive, and the staff is incredibly friendly and capable of guiding you through the best flavors. Among the various options, I'd recommend the matcha tea cake; it truly won me over!
Another positive note is the small, yet unusual, gluten-free selection of buckwheat cookies and a chestnut cake (both are fantastic, I highly recommend them).

03/04/2026: I've tried returning several times, but no, I've decided to change. There are better bakeries nearby. I understand the stress of long shifts, given that the store has long hours, but I went in and the person at the counter came to serve me (she'd seen me) after about 10 minutes, only because the lady at the register urged her to. She arrived annoyed and without a shred of empathy. Another time, a person serving at the counter and cashier (one glove or another) had greasy hands when giving change and dirty hands when cutting bread and pizza. The basics, come on...

25/04/2026: I love Alice Pizza, but the Frascati location is getting worse and worse!! I wanted to avoid writing a negative review, but this is the third time the quality of the pizza and supplì has been appalling!!
We threw out the incredibly salty supplì.
The pizza (I know it well because I get it at other locations too) is thin, hard, dry, inedible. And luckily it was freshly made, too.

01/09/2024: Seit über 20 Jahren gehen wir hier zum Essen, aber in den letzten beiden Jahren hat die Qualität ständig abgenommen. Vergangene Woche war dann der negstive Höhepunkt. Es gab nicht mehr mehrere kalte und warme Vorspeisen, sondern nur kalte Vorspeisen und die waren zum Großteil nicht mehr angemacht. Stattdessen jede Menge Calamare und Shirmps auf einer Platte angerichtet und Fileto di Sarde con Cipolla, die man in jedem Supermarkt bekommt. Es gab nun auch nicht mehr Pasta und Risotto, sondern nur Pasta mit Meeresfrüchten.
Als Hauptgang hatten wir gegrillten Fisch, Branzino, Lachs und Seeteufel. Leider alles nicht gewürzt und daher wenig schmackhaft, selbst fürSalz und Pfeffer mussten wir sorgen.
Die Nachspeise bestand ais einen viel zu süßen Semifreddo und Gebäck. Bei letzterem hatten wir das Gefühl es war vom Supermarkt. Die kleinen Mandeltörtchen waren halb vertrocknet.
Ich schreibe das alles so ausführlich, weil wir immer sehr gerne ins La Colinetta gegangen sind. Es gab wie immer sehr viel Fisch, aber geschmacklich war keiner von uns zufrieden.
Wir werden nun so schnell nicht mehr hingehen, weil über 300 € für 6 Personen nicht dafür stehen.
