Since it was near my accommodation, I decided to stop by before heading back, and I was delighted to discover an unexpected gem of a restaurant. The staff kindly explained the menu before I placed my order. The main dish, the meatball pasta(?), was truly delicious when topped with burrata cheese. There was also a dish with eggplant that was so good it changed my mind about eggplant, even though I didn't used to like it! Finally, there was a dish with mozzarella cheese, olives, and tomatoes, which was tasty as well. I enjoyed every single dish, and the bill was quite reasonable, haha. I ordered one piece of bread, three main dishes, and one glass of wine, and the total came to about 39 euros. The atmosphere was also great since I was eating outside. I definitely want to visit again!

I genuinely do not understand all the glowing reviews because our experience was really disappointing. Nothing was outright revolting or unsafe, but both the texture and flavor of the food felt strangely off in a way that was hard to pinpoint or describe. I barely ate any of mine because I just wasn’t enjoying it at all. Interestingly, my husband felt similarly but also struggled to explain exactly what was wrong beyond “it’s just not very good.” Overall, it was a confusing and underwhelming meal given the reviews.

A spectacular restaurant. The food is exquisite, fresh, and bursting with vibrant flavors. The service is warm yet respectful, and the atmosphere is tranquil and refreshing.

A small but cozy place with attentive and friendly staff. Their menu is interesting: we had both hot and cold aperitivos with their Salento Coca-Cola, an excellent Negramaro rosé, and the ever-present Puccia: everything was excellent, flavorful, and delicious. To finish, they offered a delicious pasticciotto with cream and black cherry! The only downside: the table was a bit small for the three of us, making it difficult to manage all that food and glasses on a table that size. Otherwise, I recommend it and will definitely be back!

Excellent delicatessen in Rome, just steps from the Vittorio Emanuele metro station (line A). It's a small place with a few tables, and the puccia is truly delicious. Prices are a bit higher, but we're in the city center. They also have a good craft beer, and friendly staff.
