10/06/2025: Ci sono ritornato dopo 2 anni è avuto il piacere di gustare i loro prodotti. Torta al testo con porchetta davvero squisita e abbondante. Personale molto accogliente. Ci tornerei sicuramente!!!

09/06/2025: Un posto accogliente, menù ben spiegato e chiaro e prodotti buoni…ci sono stata a pranzo con la mia famiglia, dopo la visita a Santa Maria degli Angeli, ed è stata una buona scelta. Raggiungerlo è molto semplice in quanto molto Vicino alla Basilica, ci si può arrivare a piedi in pochissimo tempo e anche in macchina perché ci sono dei parcheggi

09/11/2025: Small, musical-themed space Thin-crust pizza with excellent ingredients. Excellent service and fair prices. The only downside is that it's quite noisy when it's busy, but it's clearly a place for company.

30/01/2026: We had dinner this evening at this trattoria and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was welcoming, to say the least, and Massimo, the owner, exudes his passion for his work and the trattoria itself through every aspect of his service. Delicious food, from appetizer to dessert. Highly recommended in every way. We'll definitely be back if we're ever in the area again!

24/02/2026: Beautiful place, perfect for those who love being in nature and finding inner peace. The room is spacious, very beautiful and meticulously maintained. The outdoor space is fabulous. Perfectly located. The road to get there seems rough at first, but it's a wonderful discovery. The breakfast was also very good, with a rich selection of both savory and sweet options, including homemade cakes. The waitress (an Albanian woman) was very friendly and kind. Highly recommended.

02/03/2026: Unfortunately, our experience at Enoteca Mazzini (Assisi) was very disappointing. I had made a reservation for 11 people, but due to my own mistake, we arrived one hour late. The restaurant informed us that our original table had been given to other guests, which we completely understood. They offered us seating outside on the terrace, split into two tables, and we accepted without any issue. However, from the beginning, the waiter who served us (Giovanni) was visibly irritated and unfriendly. He became annoyed when one person at our table asked to add an appetizer after he had already started entering the order on his tablet. He was also upset when we politely asked to change the wine glasses after ordering a second bottle of a different wine (a completely normal request). There was also a mistake with one of the dishes: we ordered a specific type of gnocchi, but a different dish (pomodoro) was served. When we politely pointed this out, his response was offensive. He repeatedly told us that we “don’t know how to speak Italian” and that we “should learn Italian.” The situation escalated further into humiliating and discriminatory comments, including repeatedly mocking us for not speaking Italian well and speaking to us in a disrespectful tone. In addition, the service was extremely slow. We arrived around 1:00 PM, placed our order shortly after, and the food arrived around 2:10 PM, even though another table that ordered later was served before us. I tried to speak with the manager/person in charge at the time, but no effective action was taken. This was especially upsetting because I had chosen this restaurant based on a previous positive experience. We were also accompanying a diplomatic delegation, including the Ambassador of the Dominican Republic to the Holy See and the Ambassador of the Dominican Republic to Italy, which made the situation even more embarrassing and inappropriate. A reservation mistake (which we acknowledged and handled respectfully) does not justify rude, humiliating, or discriminatory treatment. I sincerely hope the restaurant addresses this behavior and takes measures to ensure no other guests are treated this way.

15/02/2026: I can't recommend it enough! The beautiful outdoor courtyard is a great place to enjoy delicious dishes made using only fresh, local ingredients. Homemade pasta, fresh truffles, and truly excellent cheeses and cured meats. Not to mention the vast selection of top-quality wines, which you can purchase on-site at a very reasonable price.

04/01/2026: The mattresses, which are very hard, definitely need improvement. A little more cleaning wouldn't hurt, and the food could also be seasoned a little more.

28/11/2025: Visited during the Easter period. The hotel is beautiful, a little dated, but it fits the style of the area. The food was really good, and the service was excellent, from the restaurant to the front desk. The rooms had everything you need, but they were very basic but very comfortable. The cleanliness was good. The location was perfect, halfway between the town center and the village of Assisi, easily accessible on foot. I highly recommend it, especially for the attention to detail in managing this hotel. The price was fair. Special thanks to Gianna and Alessandro, two wonderful people.

15/08/2025: I go there a couple of times a month and every time I go there very willingly, the owners, the waiters are very professional and competent, the food is good, the atmosphere is very nice and elegant and the price is right, I love the sushi and it is always fresh and well kept, thanks to all of you

07/12/2025: Chosen at random. The atmosphere is 1980s-style, but clean and tidy. The wait staff (Francesca) was kind and empathetic. We waited a bit because they prepare it fresh. We had torta al testo, which was crispy but not hard, and had a nice filling. Very good and enjoyable.

05/01/2026: I booked two nights through Smartbox next July, paying an additional fee of about €50. I received a booking confirmation by email... only to be contacted via WhatsApp and told they made a mistake when I cancelled! I find neither "La Tavola dei Cavalieri" nor Smartbox to be professional at all. Terrible service and disorganization!

04/01/2026: This agriturismo is nestled in an enchanting setting, nestled in the peaceful woods, ideal for those seeking tranquility and nature. It should be noted, however, that access is via a rather rough dirt road, which should be taken into consideration. The property, in terms of rooms and common areas, is average. The staff is very committed, and the young waiter deserves special mention for his excellent availability. Despite this, the overall service requires significant organizational improvement: for example, dishes sometimes arrive before drinks, or guests have to repeatedly ask for essentials (bread, grated cheese, etc.). Breakfast was completely inadequate in terms of the variety and availability of the buffet. Dinner was also a sore point, with prices high for the portions offered and the level of service. This is a place with great potential, which unfortunately is not yet fully realized.

30/11/2025: It's been a while since I've been here, and I'm wondering what happened to this place. They seat us and bring us the menu: 3 black and white photocopies, stapled and crumpled. The beginning didn't look good at all. After almost half an hour of sitting (and it wasn't even packed), we ordered two piadinas and a hamburger. The piadinas arrived cold; the ham looked like it had been cut with a cleaver, so thick it was, and it hadn't even been cleaned, with pieces of rind and rancid fat. The 250g hamburger arrived on a bun from an 80g hamburger. Practically half the meat was hanging out of the bun. Unwatchable!!! The potato chips, let alone the one they had, were cold and hard. We gloss over the slice of orange in the Pepsi Cola and close with the waiters who, while we were finishing dinner, were lifting the chairs at the tables around us... well, maybe they were in a hurry to go to the disco!!!

31/10/2025: A truly beautiful place with professional service. Located near the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, it's lovely to be able to sit on the terrace. They also have some delicious little souvenirs available. 10/10

04/03/2026: This piadineria is as small as it is delicious!! I ordered a piadina contadina and it was really full, large, and delicious. I had to wait a moment before ordering, and while we were waiting, they offered us a Nutella piadina on the house: a very nice gesture!! The staff also offered us free coffee at the end of the meal, really kind!! The place is small, there are lots of piadina crumbs on the floor, and there are only six seats available. Perhaps a takeaway piadina would be a better idea... but overall, it was a positive experience (except for a hair I found in my piadina!!!)

22/02/2026: Fresh products. Everything cooked to order. The two young men are friendly. Customer service is top-notch. Hospitality is second to none. The free moka pot and Nutella piadina toss make everything perfect. Prices are more than fair.

26/12/2025: We stopped in today, December 26th, for a quick lunch...a mixed platter for two, €25, without even the cheeses and the torta al testo (a kind of flatbread) to pay separately. The cold cuts were of poor quality, and the cleanliness of the place leaves much to be desired. 2 stars for being good.
