23/11/2025: We stayed one night as a group, 4 adults and 3 children in 3 rooms. The rooms were very well heated on a night when it snowed, comfortable, and well-organized. The breakfast was generous and high-quality. The dinner was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The owner even provided us with complimentary wine. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience Umbria to the fullest.

29/09/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent experience at this hotel! The rooms are very clean, spacious and well maintained. The staff NUCCIA, MICHELE are extremely kind and always willing to help, which made the stay much more enjoyable. The breakfast was varied and tasty, and the location is perfect - close to everything you need. I highly recommend and I will definitely come back!

06/01/2026: Assisi is always fascinating. We stayed as a couple in early January 2026 at the Hotel La Rocca. When their parking spaces are no longer free, they have a paid parking lot about 400 meters away. Getting there from the hotel is also dangerous as you have to walk on the main road. It's advisable to walk in single file. My wife, who had hip surgery, had a lot of difficulty; we were told that was what the convent offered. The room was very small with a tiny bathroom, no shower tray and a curtain, the TV had no signal, the Wi-Fi didn't always work, the furniture was very dated, and the tourist tax was 3 euros per person, instead of 2 as specified on the website. For one night, it was more than enough. The breakfast was good and it was close to the city center, although... it all went downhill, and it was very difficult to get back uphill.

23/11/2025: Located in the center of Assisi, a few steps from the Matteotti parking lot, this restaurant is quite large with plenty of seating. Extensive and tasty menu, from appetizers to dessert, including pizza and pinsa with a variety of flavors. Very good food, generous portions, and average, yet reasonably priced. Friendly staff, good service.

07/01/2026: Fabulous pizza with truly competitive prices. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the girls serving are truly kind and courteous. Highly recommended.

04/04/2025: Chosen without any prior knowledge, on instinct, this lovely osteria, just steps from the Church of San Pietro in Assisi, turned out to be a very pleasant gastronomic surprise. Truffle strangozzi followed by grilled lamb are substantial dishes, and although challenging, they were easily digested without hesitation, thanks to the addition of a white Grechetto, which I know is easy to drink. The service was friendly, courteous, and efficient. The price was fair; what more can I say? We'll definitely be back.

09/02/2025: The place is a bit old-fashioned but has its charm, the waitress is very kind and friendly and the aubergines, baked potatoes, strangozzi with truffle and maltagliati with leek and white ragù were simply superb!
