21/12/2025: What a treat to have fresh food, prepared for the 3 of us as we sipped delicious wine. And all wrapped up with amazing hospitality. Totally recommend this tiny pastry shop/bar/restaurant. It’s an authentic taste of Assisi in every way.
08/12/2025: Pasta reheated in the microwave, pre-cooked focaccia shamelessly passed off as ancient grain focaccia, cheap wine at an exorbitant price. But how is it done?

09/12/2025: We suffered from the cold, we couldn't even take a shower in the bathroom, the breakfast was terrible, everything was pre-packaged, even the juices from the supermarket and there was nothing local, a farmhouse should serve something from the area.
09/11/2025: Strategic location. Near Assisi, the agriturismo is surrounded by greenery. The rooms are tastefully furnished. Very relaxing, set back but not too far from the main road, so there's no noise. The breakfast was plentiful, and Claudia was very kind and welcoming. We'll definitely return in the summer to try the pool and the trail through the grounds. Recommended.

17/11/2025: Good, fast, and high quality. In addition, the service was attentive and the bathrooms (they belong to the hotel next door) were very clean.
07/11/2025: Disappointing! We ate tomato bruschetta with bread that wasn't toasted and was soaked in water! Then came a totally tasteless lentil soup, the only things we could save were the cheese platter with Norcia ham. It was expensive for what we ate.

07/12/2025: Excellent location, above the Saba parking lot in Piazza San Giovanni, near the Basilica of San Francesco. Breakfast was also good. The room, however, was so-so. Despite being on the third floor, it had two windows overlooking the wall, so it was dark and cold. There was also no wifi or cell phone reception.
05/12/2025: I want to express my gratitude for a very delicious lunch. Walking around the city, we found a restaurant at the hotel. We ordered pasta, beef in sweet and sour sauce, local red wine and creme brulee for dessert. All the dishes were a great pleasure. I highly recommend the creme brulee for dessert. Thank you to the hosts for their hospitality. Cozy, tasty, fast.

22/10/2025: Disappointing experience at Pozzo Romano
We visited Pozzo Romano restaurant with a group of 15 colleagues, but unfortunately, the experience was very negative. The staff was unwelcoming and rushed, with no attention to the customer. The meal was of poor quality, with poorly prepared and flavorless dishes. In a city as renowned for its hospitality and good cuisine as Assisi, we expected much better. We do not recommend this restaurant.

16/08/2025: Rude staff, even more so the owner, very rude. When we asked for clarification on the dishes, he replied, "If it's okay, that's it. Otherwise, you can leave." NEVER talk rudely to customers, but this was downright rude!
I advise everyone not to stop here and to move on.

Today we had three special menus for €10 each, including a delicious plate of Norcina-style celery with sausage and white truffle sauce; a second course of two slices of roast pork with fries. Drinks not included. Two 500ml bottles of water for €2 each. I recommend it. Fast service, no delays. For those who want to eat without pretensions in a historic restaurant with ancient vaults.

08/02/2026: I came in to buy a bottle of water and left after a five-minute wait, without anyone speaking to me. Despite being there waiting, I was completely invisible to the staff, completely absorbed in a chaotic and needlessly stressful work environment.
I witnessed a typical scene: the coffee attendant was yelling at the waiters, urging them to deliver a tray she hadn't yet finished preparing. This type of coordination doesn't speed up service; it only creates an atmosphere of anxiety that negatively impacts productivity and, inevitably, the customer experience.
I'm convinced the staff are professionals eager to work, but workload management must be done calmly and clearly. Such an anxious management style only wastes resources and leads to longer than necessary management times. I hope this comment will be taken as a constructive warning to rediscover the harmony needed to enhance the establishment.
25/12/2025: We have been visiting Assisi for ten years and this is THE best coffee in town BAR NONE. We are extremely picky about coffee in the States and we always go to this café daily for our cappucino (phenomenal!) and espresso fix. All others in this town are a waste of time (we've done the work of trying all the fuds for you). Their coffees make me poetic!
