Caffe Retro In Assisi

Nice place, very friendly staff, but prices are definitely too high: 1 cappuccino + 1 croissant for €4 is way too much. Autogrill prices, too high for the area.

A whole new world opens up for me here....I've been frequenting this café since around 2014 when I'm in Santa Maria....I was immediately struck by it, and I wasn't wrong....any review wouldn't deserve the right word....it's a place where friendliness...authenticity...and why not, even lightheartedness reign supreme...I don't recommend it, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND...THE BEST ❤️ Jacopo and his guys deserve an A+...my heart is there ❤️

Very nice atmosphere right next to the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli, I found a wide choice of sweet and savoury for breakfast, I was served immediately despite the large crowd, they were very kind, I recommend

In the summer, it's a pleasure to sit at the outdoor tables, while in the winter, the cozy and well-kept indoor dining room is perfect for a quiet tea or a relaxing aperitif. The atmosphere is always pleasant and well-maintained. The real highlight, however, is the staff: 10 out of 10, friendly, helpful, and always smiling, making you feel at ease from the moment you arrive. An ideal place for a quick break or to spend time with friends. Highly recommended! You can bring your pets; they even have water bowls.

Excellent coffee, truly exceptional drinks, and a food selection that never disappoints: amazing torta al testo, always fresh croissants, and a variety to suit every taste.
