12/04/2026: They welcomed us even though it was Saturday night. We expected a little more warmth, we Sardinians are like that. We ate well.

11/03/2026: We stopped for a pizza while passing through. Excellent and plentiful. The space is very large, but well-maintained and well-organized. The staff is very friendly, and the price is reasonable. The next evening we returned for a Sardinian menu. Excellent and plentiful. Congratulations. Recommended!!! Definitely worth it!!!

03/06/2026: Family-run, but you're welcomed and shown to your table like in the finest restaurants. The waiters are always available and smiling (not a given)!! Thank you for the excellent food!!! I can't wait to plan another vacation in Umbria so I can visit you again!!!

30/05/2026: I think this place should be checked by the Guardia di Finanza and by some chef, perhaps one with a knack for cooking. I'll also list the reasons for our discomfort: The pasta ordered by the person at my table arrived raw!! And I repeat, raw, not al dente, and with half the sausage still frozen, which they said had truffles, but perhaps the name truffle was right on the menu. No comment on my dish other than that it was super salty, but passable. As for the drinks and the cover charge, I think it's a real rip-off. €5.10 for a large Coke, which they say is equivalent to a 350cl glass with more ice and lemon than Coke in it. Basically, if you leave, they charge for the brand itself and even the Coca-Cola company's stock price. It's truly scandalous, I don't think we'd be able to pay that much even if we were in Piazza di Spagna. I'm attaching a photo, and I'll definitely never see you again.

19/05/2026: We had lunch here during the week of Calendimaggio and I had the special meal that came on and with the commemorative plate. The plate is beautiful! I was prepared to have a mediocre meal, because of the plate, but instead had an awesome and very special meal. I did share with my husband (some) because there was so much, but his meal was very satisfying too.

29/03/2026: We spent the weekend here; the place is charming, as is the property. We had a wonderful time; the cleanliness was excellent, the breakfast was good, and the owner was very kind. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

10/03/2026: Excellent agriturismo just minutes from Assisi. Run by a very kind person who makes you feel at home. The place is beautiful even in winter, when we were there, and it will certainly be magnificent in summer.

27/04/2026: I was passing by and needed to heat up my son's food. I told them if they could, and they were eating, how much I had come to disturb them. They were rightly very rude, both him and his wife and children, with a degree of immodesty that we Neapolitans don't do. They were so cold towards customers that if I had to recommend it to a friend, I wouldn't. Anyway, the fact is, I went from my hometown of Naples. The people were friendly and the food was good, and I even told them the name "LA LOCANDA." I had a bad experience yesterday with my son. I will always give you a 0 because you don't behave this way. Oh, I forgot, you are cold both by nature and towards people.

17/05/2026: We were there today to celebrate my parents' 50th anniversary. The staff was attentive and thorough, helpful, and friendly. The final visit to the tower, complete with a guide who explained the location's historical and cultural richness, was the icing on the cake, enriching everyone who attended. Thank you, we'll be back!

12/11/2025: We stayed at this delightful family run hotel in October. The location is fantastic- easy to access and within walking distance of squares, cathedrals, shops, restaurants and markets. There is a lovely terrace on the top floor that overlooks the valley. Our room’s high ceiling and direct access to the terrace created a light filled and spacious room that was sparkling clean. Breakfast is available and offers something for everyone in a pretty breakfast room. The hotel manager Enrico is as helpful, interesting, knowledgeable, and kind as one could hope for. Thank you Enrico and your family for providing us with a memorable stay in Assisi.

01/06/2026: Hotel located just a few meters from the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi. Very elegant, with antique stone decor, rooms equipped with many amenities, including a mini-fridge, hairdryer, television, air conditioning, mosquito netted windows, shower tray, and desk—it has it all. We had a great time; the restaurant is also well-run, located within the Minerva, but you pay extra. The owner welcomed us kindly despite her busy schedule. I'd like to offer a piece of advice to improve guest hospitality: hire more staff. It's clear how much effort and difficulty your employees have in carrying out their duties, especially at the front desk. It's unthinkable for the waiter or housekeeper to have to hand out keys, or even answer guest calls. It has an elevator. The breakfast is very generous and delicious, both sweet and savory. The cleanliness is excellent, both in the rooms and at the tables. There is no parking, but upon check-in, they give you a parking pass. It's child-friendly. A wonderful experience.

12/05/2026: I stopped by for dinner for a pizza: good, with just the right amount of toppings, but a little too thin for my taste. Spacious dining rooms. Affordable prices. Staff a bit cold.

12/05/2026: This review is only for the restaurant. They were beyond rude. They asked if it was just us two and when I said yes he said by the tv. The only clean table there was a 4 top so we sat there. They rudely told us no for two there and sent us to a filthy table. Ok fine. 5 minutes later they came to clean the table then threw menus down and walked away. 10 minutes later we walked out. If you are not Italian or don't speak fluent Italian is absurd this place. Another couple came in while this was going on with is and they were taken care of quickly.
