30/05/2026: I think this place should be checked by the Guardia di Finanza and by some chef, perhaps one with a knack for cooking. I'll also list the reasons for our discomfort: The pasta ordered by the person at my table arrived raw!! And I repeat, raw, not al dente, and with half the sausage still frozen, which they said had truffles, but perhaps the name truffle was right on the menu. No comment on my dish other than that it was super salty, but passable. As for the drinks and the cover charge, I think it's a real rip-off. €5.10 for a large Coke, which they say is equivalent to a 350cl glass with more ice and lemon than Coke in it. Basically, if you leave, they charge for the brand itself and even the Coca-Cola company's stock price. It's truly scandalous, I don't think we'd be able to pay that much even if we were in Piazza di Spagna. I'm attaching a photo, and I'll definitely never see you again.

31/05/2026: Ideal for a fresh pasta dish, it also offers a wide range of main courses, side dishes, and delicious desserts. Definitely worth a try, especially if you're looking for some excellent local dishes!

26/05/2026: The strangozzi alla matriciana with burrata was excellent. The portions weren't exactly generous. The service was helpful and friendly, but not very attentive (the wine was served almost at the end of the meal). The price of a glass of wine was excessive. The place was discreet and very well-kept. Anyway, we had a good time overall; an experience we'd repeat.

08/04/2026: Why only two stars on Booking? I’m giving three more. The first extra star is for the hospitality. The host Enrico makes you feel as if you are entering a home, not a hotel. He also has many moving stories to share. And yes - the bed really is an American-size king bed. With daily housekeeping, you may start to feel like a queen. The second extra star is for the breathtaking view from the window and the perfect location, especially for those who come not only to visit Assisi, but also to pray. It’s a quieter area, close to the Monastero di Santa Chiara, with its beautifully sung Lauds and Vespers, and only a ten-minute walk from San Damiano. It is also near Porta Nuova, with bus stops for the Eremo delle Carceri, Santa Maria degli Angeli, and the railway station. And just around the corner there is a very well-stocked supermarket with local food and wine. The third extra star is for something harder to explain, but easy to feel: the image of Jesus, I trust in You — the Merciful Jesus — on the wall. And somehow it matches the spirit of this place. Nothing feels fake here. You really can trust it… and make the most of your stay in Assisi.

07/04/2026: A lovely bar on the main street in Assisi. The Lord makes the ice creams himself, and they're top-notch. I had the hazelnut and banana versions, and you can taste the texture and flavor. Fair prices and comfortable seating. Visit Assisi and stop by.

27/03/2026: I entered this place because I was drawn to its unique style. I had a really good cappuccino. The owners are truly kind. I went to the bathroom and, a little warily, left my laptop, purse, and phone on the table. They asked me where I was from and said, "We're not in Rome, here in Assisi, nothing gets stolen." These words comforted me greatly, and when I return to Assisi, I will definitely return to this café!

01/06/2026: Hotel located just a few meters from the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi. Very elegant, with antique stone decor, rooms equipped with many amenities, including a mini-fridge, hairdryer, television, air conditioning, mosquito netted windows, shower tray, and desk—it has it all. We had a great time; the restaurant is also well-run, located within the Minerva, but you pay extra. The owner welcomed us kindly despite her busy schedule. I'd like to offer a piece of advice to improve guest hospitality: hire more staff. It's clear how much effort and difficulty your employees have in carrying out their duties, especially at the front desk. It's unthinkable for the waiter or housekeeper to have to hand out keys, or even answer guest calls. It has an elevator. The breakfast is very generous and delicious, both sweet and savory. The cleanliness is excellent, both in the rooms and at the tables. There is no parking, but upon check-in, they give you a parking pass. It's child-friendly. A wonderful experience.

27/05/2026: We had a great time, the staff were very helpful, the room was large and clean. Excellent breakfast with a wide selection of sweet and savory options. Excellent location (200 meters from the Basilica of St. Francis) with paid parking 150 meters away.

17/05/2026: We were there today to celebrate my parents' 50th anniversary. The staff was attentive and thorough, helpful, and friendly. The final visit to the tower, complete with a guide who explained the location's historical and cultural richness, was the icing on the cake, enriching everyone who attended. Thank you, we'll be back!

27/06/2026: I went for breakfast here: we spent 20 euros for two pastries and two cappuccinos. Pure madness! I don't recommend going.

19/04/2026: I stayed at the Relais Parco dei Cavalieri during a fencing competition in Bastia Umbra, and I must say the location was perfect: centrally located, well-connected, and convenient for Assisi, where I spent a pleasant evening for dinner. The property immediately struck me with its elegance and originality. Its historic charm is palpable, yet at the same time everything is thoughtfully designed and welcoming, immersed in a truly relaxing setting. A great strength is undoubtedly the staff: courteous, helpful, and always attentive, making you feel at ease at all times. It's one of those places that stays with you, not only for the quality of the accommodation but for the overall experience. I will definitely return, this time with my family, to enjoy the area and all it has to offer at a more leisurely pace.

12/05/2026: This review is only for the restaurant. They were beyond rude. They asked if it was just us two and when I said yes he said by the tv. The only clean table there was a 4 top so we sat there. They rudely told us no for two there and sent us to a filthy table. Ok fine. 5 minutes later they came to clean the table then threw menus down and walked away. 10 minutes later we walked out. If you are not Italian or don't speak fluent Italian is absurd this place. Another couple came in while this was going on with is and they were taken care of quickly.

12/05/2026: I stopped by for dinner for a pizza: good, with just the right amount of toppings, but a little too thin for my taste. Spacious dining rooms. Affordable prices. Staff a bit cold.

04/01/2026: This is a small, limited-seat restaurant in the center of Assisi. It's a great place for a quick stop to try the torta al testo, a traditional local dish, and enjoy a glass of wine. The torta bocciata is also excellent.
