We stopped in for lunch today, somewhat by chance. It seemed like a touristy place, given its central location. However, the first courses were carefully prepared and of good quality. We were more than satisfied. The only downside is perhaps the slightly high cover charge, given what's on offer, but considering it's right in the center of Assisi, it's more than acceptable.

We ordered their typical pasta, the carbonara and the truffle pasta, which were very good. Served in the same little pans they're prepared in! Really cool! For our Brazilian palates, we ordered grated cheese, of course top-quality Parmesan! The spectacular olive oil with a touch of salt made everything perfect! A typical Brazilian touch…

Centrally located in Assisi. We had a starter of pumpkin soup and strangotti, and a main course of cheek stew. Two glasses of Sagrantino and a glass of Vino Santo with two portions of biscuits. Everything was good. The only downside was the plastic bottled water, which was a bit of a tacky painter. The waiter was friendly, but the bill was a bit high for what we ate. In my opinion, they should eliminate plastic bottles and install a water purifier.

20/04/2026: The anchovy pizza was delicious, pairing beautifully with a cool glass of Menabrea. The service was courteous and very fast. We'd love to come back.

12/03/2026: We visited this restaurant with a group of six friends in March 2026. The positives were definitely the very fair price, the cleanliness of the restaurant, and the large space (we had no problems with the reservation). The service was a bit lacking: the staff only intervened when prompted (we had to ask for bread and attract attention to order our order) and the wait times were a bit excessive. The food, however, was good and reasonably priced. Overall, a good option for a quiet, unpretentious evening.
