Truly exceptional!
We were welcomed by a very practical lady, who managed to satisfy us with the choice of place and who recommended some delicious dishes (we weren't even able to take photos before tasting them). In short, fast and very efficient service, a nice place overlooking the square and really excellent food. Passed with flying colors and recommended!

The place is wonderful, very welcoming in its simplicity, overlooking the Piazza del Comune, very beautiful in the evening.
The first courses are very good, the raw materials are excellent and the pasta is homemade.
The staff is extremely customer focused.
The meats are fresh and very tasty.
The value for money is excellent
We ate very well and would go back.😄
P.S. the bread that accompanies the meals is delicious.

On a Sunday for lunch, even though we had called that same morning, we found a seat even though the restaurant was packed, perhaps the spaces are a bit narrow, despite this the staff was very kind and very quick, we ate an excellent starter of cured meats and cheeses and three first courses, I suggest the really good truffle tagliolini. Local in the center of Assisi.
The pasta served here didn't disappoint! We asked the lovely lady for her recommendations and ended up choosing the carbonara and wild boar Ragu. Both were incredibly delicious; the bowls were licked clean! Prices were also very reasonable for food, wine was a little pricier as they didn't have a house option.

I went there after seeing the guide's recommendation, and the truffle oil pasta was delicious! It costs 16 euros and there is a 2 euro seat fee. Communication was a bit difficult because the server did not speak English.

Torniamo alla trattoria degli umbri dopo quasi un anno e la soddisfazione è rimasta sempre quella anzi è migliorata! Crostini super buoni con un pane spettacolare e materie prime veramente ottime! Primi come la lasagna spettacolare, strangozzi umbri buonissimi e gnocchi con ragù di cinghiale ottimi più patate al forno perfette e un tiramisù super!!! Anche mia suocera che ha cucinato per anni ha fatto i complimenti per tutto.. torneremo sicuramente qualsiasi volta che possiamo straconsigliato!!

I got the daily lunch special- octopus and potatoes. The octopus was tender yet the sauce was boring. It came with baked potatoes, thinly sliced and slow baked in butter or oil- it was heavenly, possibly the best baked potatoes i have ever had.
