Best salad I have had in Italy. The chef came to my table and asked personally what I would like. Not only was the salad fresh and delicious but filling and nutritious! HIGHLY RECOMMED.

I’ve spent weeks in Assisi and this was hands down the most delicious meal I’ve had here! Chef Traci is incredibly gifted and also welcomed us so warmly. I’ll be back again!

I appreciated everything except the ban on pets. It was absolutely mandatory, no ifs, ands, or buts. We had already checked out of the hotel, and it was impossible for us to leave him in the room.

A pleasant discovery for a dinner for three. An intimate and welcoming place with a roaring fireplace. I tried the samosas, which were delicious—not greasy and already cut in half, with a wonderful yogurt on the side to tone down the spiciness. The biryami, served in a bread-crusted earthenware bowl and sliced ​​on the spot, was spectacular, and the vegetarian fusion version with truffle was excellent. I don't know how, but the rice retained the perfect toasting. To finish, a delicate chocolate mousse was a perfect dessert, with no compromises in style. The challenge of merging Indian and Umbrian cuisine was easily achieved.

08/01/2026: My husband and I stayed for New Year's Eve and left on January 2nd. We both stayed and dined at the Locanda, and it was a wonderful experience! Everyone was very kind, and the dinner was superb! Breakfast was meticulously prepared, with a different dessert made every day by the owner of the Locanda! Highly recommended! We'll be back soon! The tagliata steak is excellent, tender and flavorful, and the first courses are equally delicious, well-prepared and rich in flavor. All accompanied by a good house white wine, the perfect complement to the meal. The service is quick, efficient, and always friendly. A place where you eat well and feel welcomed. I'll definitely be back!
