22/06/2025: La Locanda del Lupo is a quiet place in the historic center of Orvieto. It is a place that presents itself simply in its typical Umbrian architecture. It has furnishing elements in some cases out of context but a nice atmosphere. The food is good, especially the first courses, recommended those with fresh truffle. Simple service and friendly staff. Excellent location towards the main points of interest of the city

12/06/2025: Great place to have dinner in Orvieto, the food is excellent as in the whole region, excellent pasta and meat. The only negative note was that as soon as we finished dinner we had to run away because it was an exaggerated mosquito net :/

18/06/2025: Usually, like the great Vincenzo Mollica, I do not comment negatively on something or someone, I prefer not to talk about it and forget. However, this time I decided to derogate, because an important event for my family was ruined by inappropriate and completely inadequate behavior of those who served our table. Therefore I will forget this unwelcoming and unprofessional place. The table service is improvised, without attention, with a lot of unjustified waiting and with completely out of place considerations, even to legitimate requests from us: there is the feeling of disturbing and makes you want to leave as soon as possible. I advise against attending.

11/06/2025: I would start with a small outdoor seating area where the waiters had to do acrobatics to get to the table. The restaurant offers traditional pizza, which we had ready very quickly (within 10 minutes), which I appreciate, on the other hand, it was very bland in taste, but maybe that could have been our choice. The price of the pizza is 10€, which is adequate. For dessert I had tiramisu, which was amazing. What can't be said about the service, because the waiters took turns and didn't show much interest in the customers. You should try it anyway. :)

05/06/2025: One of the biggest choices of pizza we ever seen. Delicious dough with plenty of ingredients on the pizza!! Really great deal with low prices! Superb!!

31/05/2025: A point of reference for several years. The pizza is very good although it is not my ideal type, the starters are excellent, especially the mozzarella in carrozza that I put in the photo. Fast service.

22/06/2025: Returning to this restaurant, an emotion... made even stronger by the incredible view of the Castelluccio plain that you can enjoy while eating outside. Incredible! I enjoyed a cheese pie with lentils and pears with a fantastic taste! The gricia was excellent, the baked potatoes scented with bay leaves, everything exquisite. Fast and kind service despite the place being full. The elderly lady was delightful, I think the owner's mother, who, between one polite chat and another, asked us to come back to visit her in her inn. Castelluccio is also this, simple people with a heart. I hope to be able to return soon. Thank you

07/06/2025: Beautiful welcome from the owner. Very clean rooms and bathroom. The daughter, very sweet, came to our aid to pick us up with the car for one of our pilgrims in difficulty. In the evening we ate at the restaurant, all the dishes explained very well, beautiful and tasty, with attention to our needs. Pilgrim's menu with very wide choices for only 15 euros!!! We were very satisfied, restaurant and rooms highly recommended. To keep in mind for future holidays.

06/06/2025: Had dinner yesterday in a group of seven people, ate like "canteen" pilgrim's menu very poor, paid too much! Supermarket chicken, really ridiculous pork loin 2' slices! Not recommended

09/06/2025: I had dinner at Gnammeria da Giò and I confirm everything I had read: genuine, abundant and truly delicious dishes! From the appetizer to the first courses (the carbonara was amazing!) to the dessert, each course was prepared with care and quality ingredients. The staff is young, friendly and always smiling, the service is fast but never rushed. Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for an informal but very tasty dinner. The quality-price ratio is also excellent. I will definitely be back – highly recommended

15/04/2025: Spectacular food at a much more than honest price, the guy is very nice, a legend, impeccable service and a welcoming and hospitable environment Update: - Excellent quality draft beer, - The food continues to be great and the prices fantastic - The aroma that you can smell from the street at mealtime is enchanting and can only encourage you to enter .- The price would only be worth the atmosphere you breathe

17/05/2025: It continues to be an excellent place to taste Lucanian cuisine. Prices are medium-high but adequate for what is offered. The outdoor veranda is beautiful and the interior spaces are well-arranged. Excellent service and courtesy.

13/06/2025: A very tasty kebab with plenty of vegetables and plenty of meat for €5.50. Very popular with locals, so the wait was short. But it was worth it. The owner is friendly and speaks English.
