24/05/2025: Renovated farmhouse, immersed in the bucolic atmosphere of the Umbrian countryside. A magical place? Or do Le Fate Ignoranti just want us to believe it (cit.). In any case, Le Fate offers us a cuisine with a strong identity, based on Umbrian tradition but with a personal touch that is there and can be seen. Homemade pasta, use of truffles, quality products. Second courses of meat and fish. Seasonal proposals. Very good desserts. Vegetarian dishes. And a great wine list to complete the work.

17/08/2025: A host with exceptional ethics. Friendly table service by three very nice ladies. Expertise and good-quality food. Here, tourists are as respectable as fellow citizens. A great souvenir to take home.

06/08/2025: Serata con amici Piatti fuori meni due 2 camerieri menù diversi.... Cibo appena sufficiente attenzione al menù perché i piatti e il condimento cambia ogni portata tra tavolo e tavolo... L'antipasto viene servito in base alla simpatia del cliente quello della casa X2 persone non basta per 1 una persona che dire il prezzo è soggettivo ogni volta con lo stesso cibo varia che dire staff poco serio occhio al conto aggiungono portate non ordinate ......da non tornarci.

02/08/2025: Tutto ok. Alla vecchia maniera. Primi abbondanti. Servizio veloce, personale affabile, buon parcheggio. Che dire si mangia bene e si spende in maniera onesta. Non sono molti i locali dove regna l'onestà.

10/08/2025: Pool too crowded It felt like a public pool. The price for a lounger and admission is 18 euros; considering lunch, that's a considerable expense, and one would expect a bit of relaxation. Instead, the lawn was crowded with people with towels, and the small pool was packed. An experience not to be repeated.

15/09/2025: Very nice place in a great location. Service was extremely slow and inconsistent, and the food was good but not exceptional. Dinner with a couple of friends, and they, like us, will certainly not repeat it.

23/06/2025: A true corner of paradise discovered a few years ago and, after the last stay, I can only reconfirm its beauty. The staff is always super welcoming and helpful, while the location is beautiful and well-kept. The restaurant and the breakfast buffet full of high-quality products are also excellent. Highly recommended.

07/09/2025: The restaurant's strong point is the ambiance, as it's located inside a beautiful, spacious cave. I liked the dishes, but wasn't thrilled. If I were to return to Orvieto, it wouldn't be one of my favorites. It's geared toward foreigners.

27/08/2025: I visited this restaurant eight years ago on a business trip, and this time, my wife and I came back for a vacation. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, and the truffle pasta and lamb are absolutely delicious! We visited for a slightly late lunch, and were worried it might be a break, but we were greeted warmly. I ordered a glass of wine, and they came back a little later, poured us a little more, and filled us up. The staff's service was top-notch. This was the best meal I had in all of Italy! I want to go back again to experience it all.

27/08/2025: I had pizza here, and I have to say it was delicious, very thin, and the appetizers were also good. I recommend the fried mozzarella and Ascoli olives. For the rest, the staff was very kind, a special shout out to Simona. 4 of us ate, we had 4 appetizers, 4 pizzas, and a beer. Let's say the cost was about 20 euros per person. I recommend it for pizza, but I can't comment on the food because I haven't tried it. Ciao everyone, and enjoy your meal! 🧡❤️

28/08/2025: 12 ravioli, a mini steak, water, coffee, 55 euros. The lady in front of me had a summer in a carton for 5 euros. You be the judge. I confirm everything. There were 10 of us, all with the same idea. We will never go again. I would appreciate a response from the owner.

27/08/2025: The service during dinner was excellent, but honestly, being greeted by an empty counter upon entering and being ignored by the staff for five minutes isn't pleasant when you're hungry. The location, for a taverna, met expectations, but what caught us off guard were the prices, which, to quote another reviewer, were more like those of a gourmet restaurant. The first courses were exceptional, the combination of ingredients unique and delicious. We had the lasagnetta and strangozzi, highly recommended and reasonably priced (perhaps the lasagnetta portion could be slightly larger). What disappointed us was the Cinta Senese fillet with fondue and truffle, €30 for a small piece of meat with a layer of fondue the size of a slice of cheese... You can't go hungry after eating a lasagna and fillet for €50 (excluding wine and cover charge). Highly recommended tavern if you want to eat well, but I think the prices should coincide not only with the quality of the food but also with the rest.

22/08/2025: A truly unique place in Amelia. We came in for lunch and ordered two fabulous dishes (a pasta of the day and a baked scamorza with vegetables). It was impossible not to stop at the deli; we bought taralli and biscuits, but everything else looked truly inviting. Top!

20/08/2025: I enter the historic center and find Convitto. It strikes me and I follow my instincts. A marvel. A historic and well-decorated place. Exceptional service. The staff is kind and attentive. I'm writing this live. I started with a burrata and prosciutto. The prosciutto is fantastic. I haven't tasted these flavors in years. I just finished the second course. Le Fregnacce. A kind of piadina with a filling of your choice. Delicious and unique. The dough contains chicory or chard. Highly recommended Top rating 👍👍👍

13/09/2025: Worst food we had in italy unfortunately, pizza was burnt and took over 40mins to arrive with restaurant half full, pasta dishes were a bit better. Overall disappointing seems like a tourist trap. Staff were friendly

08/09/2025: We went to Gubbio for three days to visit the town, and since it was lunchtime, we decided to eat at this restaurant before starting our tour of the city center. We had two Fricco's with crescia (excellent), water, wine, and coffee. The place was cool, the service attentive, and the food fast. Everything was good.
