26/09/2025: We spontaneously stopped by for dinner last night. We opted for carbonara and pizza, and both were delicious. The service was very friendly and even made us cocktails that weren't on the menu. We highly recommend this restaurant! P.S.: The carbonara here is thankfully made the way it's traditional in Italy. No cream, no peas, no obscure meat fillings like in Germany. We also noticed that the restaurant isn't directly on the lake, even before we entered. Why other reviews have given it a downgrade for this reason is neither understandable nor comprehensible.

26/12/2025: We had lunch with friends and were completely satisfied with the meal we had at this trattoria located in the historic center of Città di Castello. Both the tortellini in broth and the fried lamb were excellent, but those who ordered appetizers and various cuts of meat, including side dishes, were equally satisfied. A place to recommend, definitely!

08/02/2026: First time at Filo d'Olio and it was a wonderful discovery, first of all with the way they welcomed our two golden retrievers and then such professional, friendly, polite, and welcoming staff that we hadn't seen in a long time! Excellent appetizers and pizza... we come from Rome and it's become our go-to place in Umbria... keep it up!

05/02/2026: What can I say?! Beautiful place! I'd never been to Otricoli before, and I have to say, it's a beautiful village. As soon as I arrived, a very kind and friendly host helped me park, and then I entered this world of hospitality and quality! The food was excellent, the raw fish appetizer was fantastic. I also tried my wife's cacio e pepe ravioli, and they were world-class. The desserts, all homemade, are amazing! The staff is very polite and professional, with that touch of warmth that makes you feel at home. You guys are great!!!

18/09/2025: A charming and welcoming place in one of the most characteristic areas of Perugia's historic center. The menu is certainly not touristy and features local cuisine, but the selection is very carefully crafted. The dishes are beautifully presented. I would modify the wine list, adding a few less usual products to ensure a consistent pairing with the menu.

02/03/2026: Giorgione, the #1, is always present in the dining room with his charming personality, a joke for everyone, always available, never unreachable. Excellent food, endless appetizers, and with the phrase "ask and it shall be given to you," he's a winner with me! I'll definitely be back, it's worth it.

20/11/2025: The restaurant is located in the square in front of the fountain, a beautiful setting. The restaurant is not very large, but it's welcoming. The table setting is very well-designed, with decorative plates; the tables are small. The menu isn't extensive, and choosing can be difficult due to the unique flavors. The food is decent; honestly, I would have expected more, especially considering the slightly above-average prices. The service was professional, but rather cold and clinical. It was unpleasant to hear the staff chattering in the kitchen.

17/11/2025: We loved this restaurant! We ate their twice during our stay weeks stay in Panicale, a charming hillside town. It was was off season in November so we were able to walk in without a reservation. The food was excellent, non-traditional Italian cuisine with a great wine selection and the service was great. The commute was fantastic as it was a 3 minute walk from our hotel. We will definitely go back on our next trip back to Panicale. We definitely recommend this restaurant if you're in the area or staying in town.

20/12/2025: We spent 5 days in Gubbio and came here 4 of the 5! Twice for dinner and twice just to enjoy some fantastic wine before dinner elsewhere. The owner is very personable and knowledgeable...loves to talk with you about wines of the region and makes great recommendations. We were made to feel as welcome as if we were his local regulars! They will open many different wines by the glass...more so than other places we have been that limit what they are willing to open. The wine selection is outstanding and the charcuterie board a delicious sampling of regional meats, cheeses and accompaniments. We particularly loved the Cresia which can be made with toppings of your choice..."bacon" and onion for us was heaven! We sat inside but they also have a nice heated area outside. Please don't miss this spot on your visit to Gubbio...even better, stop here first to get great information about what you may want to experience while exploring wine in Umbria. If only I could have put this shop in my suitcase and taken it home with me!

25/11/2025: A 5-star experience in every sense of the word. If you want to feel pampered in a peaceful oasis surrounded by greenery, you're in the right place. Superbly maintained spaces, extremely friendly staff, and a fabulous breakfast. The spa is also lovely, with a whirlpool in the pool that has sliding doors to access the outdoor pool. We'll definitely be back.

21/09/2025: We were greeted by the warmth of Beatrice and her husband and then overwhelmed by the excellent food, perfectly cooked and made with carefully selected ingredients. From appetizers to dessert, it was top-notch!!! And as for the wine from their cellar, I can only say: Divine.
